NG GREEDY TABLES NOW are in 2 pieces;

- Table itself (around 41 prims, depending on model used and only 3 scripts);
- Greedy Controller Board (GCB) (89 prims and 1 script); and it can be paired to only ONE TABLE!


ATTENTION: ALWAYS REZ THE TABLE BEFORE THE OTHER PARTS OTHERWISE THE PAIRING WON`T WORK! WHEN BOARD REZED IT SHOWS IN GREEN "SELECT A TABLE". WHEN PEOPLE STARTS PLAYING THE GAME, BOARD SHOWS "GAME IN PROGRESS" IN YELLOW. IF THESE SENTENCES DON`T SHOW UP, DELETE BOTH TABLE AND BOARD AND START ALL AGAIN.

ACCESS: U can now set who will be able to change the settings from ur table.

JOIN ON SIT (*): When selected, players will be added automatically to the game when they sit down. If not selected, they need sit down and click JOIN.

(*) Selected or not, players can play the game without sitting down (since they are not far away from table - see PLAY RANGE).

POINTS MODE:
KEEP: Let`s say player A makes 1,4K and leave two dices to be rolled. So next player, B, can choose either ROLL with this two dices left or click STOP and then ROLL again, so table will refresh to 6 dices to rolled. But If player B decides to roll with these two dices left and at least one of them is "1" or a "5" and press STOP he will KEEP the 1,4K points made by player A plus the score given to the dice selected ("1",100 points, "5", 50 points).

STEAL: Exactly like KEEP mode but if player B rolls a "1" or "5" from the two dices left from player A and press STOP he will STEAL the 1,4K points from player A plus the score given to the dice selected ("1",100 points, "5", 50 points).

CLASSIC: Like on V6 tables, so no KEEP / STEAL mode enabled.

DEVIL DICE: When selected, eventually a devil will show instead of a numbered dice. It works like a "joker dice" u often see from SL tables: u can select any value to that dice to make a combo with a highest score possible. Eg: U have two "6". so u could make the devil dice to be a "6" so u will have 6,6,6 (600 points).

SOUNDS: When selected, sounds from table will be ON; when unselected, OFF (sounds volume can be controlled by the buttom VOLUNME);

PARTICLES: It refers to particles threw when game is over: when selected, ON when unselected, OFF;

CHAT: It refers to open chat messages coming from the table during a game: When selected, ON (a); when unselected, OFF (b).

(a) Open chat will be read by players only though. Very handy if u need rez 2 or more tables, close to each other.
(b) Only table reset and winner info will be displayed. Very handy for rezzing tables at club areas.



POINTS TO WIN: It refers the max points a player should reach to be the winner;

POINTS TO JOIN: It refers the min points a player should have to be "in the board".

PLAY RANGE: It refers how far in meters a player can play the game and be recognized by the table. In this case, player needs to press JOIN to join the game. If it occurs the player is > 64 meters, table will do the self cleaning.

ROUND TIME: Time in seconds, a player can play his turn, starting conter AFTER player rolls the dice.

SKIP IDLE: Time in seconds a player has to roll the dices when its ur turn, otherwise a red skip button will show up (between ROLL and STOP on table) and ANYONE (*) can skip the current player.. Very handy for lazy players who are watching Facebook instead of playing greedy lol).

(*) Player won`t able to skip him/herself though.

OBS: When SKIP IDLE is selected to 0 (zero) it will be considered as disabled during the game.


SKIP POINTS: It refers the points given to who skips a player. A such nice incentive to skip lazy players :)

VOLUME: As name says, it controls the volume of sound from table.

Info for all jealous and knowledgeable who claim my grid and 162 sim are slow. (user01) I did a test with an old pentium 4 Intl core 2 quad 3.2GHz, 8GB memory card 6 years out of life no more driver, "1GBite" internet. I'm going to my sim house market 60000 prim hard test. No difference to my PC i7 core 8, 4.3GHz, 32GB memory new Graficcard Gigabite. All work fine and stable fast. :-D
If my grid is slow for you, it may be time to think about the 50MBite internet and your old PC. That could be helpful. ;-)

I've been working on a project that is 18th century Acadia / Caraquet New Brunswick. This is the interior of a church that one of my ancestors actually had built in the late 1700's, I'm no longer a Catholic. But the statue of Mary made me cry a bit. I think this came out nice. :)

AMV’s 6th Birthday celebration winds down after a full day of incredible entertainment. Clifford Hanger, Ted Junior, Clan Escotia and the Clan Band lit up the morning and afternoon, and Icky Thump brought the perfect blues-filled finale at the AMV Birthday region.

2025 RESULTS
Every year, in December, my team and I review the "outgoing year," highlighting our achievements and setbacks. We also share the development of our community. And this year will be no exception.

This year, like last year, has been challenging and eventful for us. It's not over yet, but challenges and minor problems continue to surround us, and we, in turn, continue to actively address them. We wish each of you strength and success in overcoming all the difficulties you encounter along your journey.

For the "Opensimulator" virtual community as a whole, this year was also challenging and eventful in terms of development, setbacks, and losses. And despite all the difficulties, we managed to survive this year and maintain the integrity of our idea and commitment to our values ​​and interests.
So, let's start by talking about our failures and losses.
FAILURE OF THE YEAR
I consider geoblocking, which arose as a result of targeted control measures (data protection, blocking access to information due to law or security requirements) in the Russian-language segment of the internet, to be the failure of the year. It affects the social development of our world as a whole. And although it exists, our world has continued to function and develop. Yes, it is a significant hindrance. But so far this year, we haven't been able to completely circumvent all the restrictions that were imposed. I hope we will definitely solve this problem next year. And next year will be filled with positive emotions for all of us.
LOSS OF THE YEAR
This year, we lost two truly wonderful residents of the Opensim metaverse who always supported our world and the Opensim community as a whole, and who have made enormous contributions to the development of the metaverse. Luna Lunaria, the great designer and creator of the Wolf Territory world. She has passed away, but her memory and her work will forever remain in the metaverse. For me, she was a good friend, whom I often turned to for advice when I was struggling. Together, we explored PBR materials and studied the conceptual development of PBR worlds. Rest in peace. Your fire of enthusiasm for the development of worlds continues to burn in our hearts. Verna Avril is an excellent DJ in the OSGRID world. She dedicated her entire life to creating magnificent sets. I loved listening to her sets and attending parties with her. She was also a good friend of mine. Rest in peace, my friends. Your memory will forever remain in my heart. We remember you guys and will always remember you. Another loss is the passing of my co-owner, Trevor Belmont. For five years, he was an excellent creator and developer and my supporter. He decided to take a different path. I respect his choice and appreciate his contribution to the development of the RussianGrid world. ACHIEVEMENT OF THE YEAR
We've all had plenty of accomplishments this year.
- We've all had the chance to meet new, interesting creative people and worlds open to friendly collaboration with the Russian-speaking segment of the OpenSimulator. We're open to everyone.
- We completed construction and opened the enormous Galaxy Hall cinema and concert hall.
- We've begun creating a museum of Russian art at the Alex Leo residence. The residence was completed entirely using PBR. Thanks to Luna Lunaria for the consultations.
- We managed to complete (independently, without consulting scripters) the Kario male body.
- The new OpenSimulator engine allows us to fully work with PBR materials.
- Restructuring of the STEKLOFF club. Branches of the club, which was very popular with OpenSimulator residents, will now be located in many regions, and they will broadcast events from the main STEKLOFF club.
- This year has seen tremendous development in our world's web resources. We've acquired services such as our own messenger, our own social network, our own cloud storage for users, and our own Flikr equivalent. Most importantly, we've finally managed to create a fully-fledged media streaming grid server, allowing every user to host full-fledged video streams completely free and without restrictions. Our cinema is powered by it.

- We've created a texture cache proxy server. This allows users with slower computers to play comfortably. Cache and textures load instantly. Thanks to this, you no longer need to store tens of gigabytes of cache on your PCs and worry about clearing it every time it gets full.
- Huge thanks to @FerdFrederix for his support, development, and optimization of the DreamGrid project. We appreciate it.
- Huge thanks to @Mike Mills for providing technical support and solving huge problems in the world. My favorite system administrator. I'm glad the server problems are in his hands.
- In terms of server optimization, we were able to achieve excellent frame rates with the most minimal hardware requirements. The security system has also been optimized. There's no longer a need to block users. After the global rules are finalized, intelligent security will be enabled in all regions.
The "Zorkiy Glaz" intelligent system will automatically monitor regional security.
Despite all the restrictions surrounding our world, and the discrediting of our world by unfriendly worlds, we managed to end this year with dignity. Thank you for your attention. Sincerely, Alex Leo 12/06/2025.

It's Thanksgiving Eve in the USA and after today's news about the passing of our dear friend Luna Lunaria, I got to thinking how blessed I am for having known her, and then I looked at my friends lists and thought, how blessed I am for all of my friends! Then I looked at all the comments and posts in Discord and here in OSW and except for a few really mean ones.... belittling others...complaining about this and that, everyone in Open Sim is so kind, such great creators, performers.... and I thought.... why isn't everyday Thanksgiving?
So, I would like to ask that tomorrow, everyone, no matter what you celebrate, how you believe or where you live.... take a minute to thank someone for being in your life! Take a minute to send that apology.... make that sweet compliment...say I AM THANKFUL FOR YOU!! Why on Earth should we wait for a special holiday or event to do that? We should be grateful every single day for this life we have been given!!

Ruby Red Pumps for Ladies, something I'm experimenting with in Meshy AI, when the shoe line is ready I will make them available at the mall. They don't fit with perfection but they do fit nicely. I will post when they're available. Blessings and much love, Lavia.

A little rant. When SL implemented PBR textures, they included a script command called llSetRenderMaterial, which allows you to change the PBR material texture of a surface. Multiple scripts are now available there that do just that. This is similar to llSetTexture we've used forever to change the older blinn-phong textures.

When Opensim implemented their version of PBR, they decided that we didn't need osSetRenderMaterial activated for scripts, because really, who would actually use that stuff? If there's another more plausible reason I would love to hear it.

Ran into this trying to update a simple light sconce which allows you to touch the object to add light, fullbright, and glow to a surface to mimic a light that's turned on. For PBR, while turning on light is still the same, brightness and glow are managed by the emissive texture layer of a PBR Material. So to mimic a glowing light, you would need to be able to - you guessed it - CHANGE the material. But of course that's currently impossible in Opensim until someone incorporates that script function into code.

In the pics, you can see the PBR sconce on the left, and one with older textures on the right. In the top pic the light is off on both and in the bottom pic the light is on. The PBR glass looks great, and the light works, but you have no glow to show it's on. So for now, until osSetRenderMaterial is activated, I will have to set the glass material to always glowing. Or more likely, I will add a bulb inside with no PBR that will glow when touched.
