This is my latest build and I think one of my personal favorites, a one room luxury cabin with a raised floor for the Kitchen Area, high rise ceilings with large open front, back and side windows to let in all that beautiful sunlight and to just enjoy nature while snuggling next to the built in fireplace. It has carved wooden doors and decorative shutters and simple 4 pane windows and log door frames. This cabin would be gorgeous in any forested or mountainous setting. It is partial mesh but it can be retextured and it is copy, mod, transfer; it has a land impact of 34 including the doors and built in fireplace that has a warm crackling fire going. UPDATE:
I have a sponsor who will cover the cost of the stream and will do the broadcast of the soundscape from her computer. However, I'm researching the possibility that the broadcasting can be done from my Google Drive account. Anyone know anything about that? The file will be about 13,130 kb.

I need help streaming music for a project by Cherry Manga. My 10 minute long soundscape will run on repeat for a month, 24/7, starting on September 29th.

Here are two options I’ve considered for how to stream
1. Ideally, I would store the music on the streaming service server and have the song set up to repeat.
2. Alternatively, I would use Mixx to make a live broadcasting connection to a streaming service.

Options for getting a streaming service.
3. Ideally, I would use a stream somebody has set-up already.
4. Or I rent the service, with the $ help from anyone who wants to contribute to the exhibit.

I am adding scripts to the furniture that will allow you to store your items like clothing, shoes, jewelry and just about anything you want for your role play enjoyment, but you don't have to use this furniture for immersive RP you can use it as a secondary storage for your favorite outfits and other things you need quick access to without searching forever in your inventory for them. The windlight of BW Castle had to be adapted to the new display with PBR, as it suddenly appeared much too dark. Another PBR inconvenience was the need to retexture the terrain, as all regions in the new viewer were displayed with standard ground textures. Black White Castle with green grass texture doesn't work at all ;)

Das Windlight von BW Castle musste an die neue Darstellung mit PBR angepasst werden, da es plötzlich viel zu dunkel wirkte. Thanks to the AMAZING Firestorm and OPENSIM NGC team (and a bit of work from us!) our whole grid is now running with PBR textures and terrains. IN fact this image doesn't use PBR materials, just the standard texturing. Wow.

Get Help Finding Stuff

Polar bears are good at helping you find stuff, if you can find one. So, people are using the box more and more to request help. As you know, comments in the box get drowned out by not nice comments. Even the nice comments push the requests down until they disappear. But there is help with that. Just join the What Are You Looking For group. https://opensimworld.com/groups/1060

• Why: As I mentioned, there is a short time before requests in the box go to oblivion The posts in the group stick around, increasing the chances that you will find help from our over 100 members.
• How to use the group: Post about items you are, well, looking for...outfits, builds, shops, services, skills, and so on. At times, a group member will actually make what you are looking for. How cool is that? (Hint: very cool!)

What happens if you help? First, you become one of the forces for good in the galaxy. OK, in OS and OSW. We need more goodness here, right? And, about every two weeks, I post a list of our recent helpers, a bit of their profile info, and the address of their region(s).

We are at 14 and growing for the "Friends of The Genesis Roleplay Grid" wall. This will get you a walk through portal from our grid to yours and it will bear your logo and landmark, and that's really all there is to it. Some have asked me why I do this, well it's because with all the hatred, negativity and ridiculous competition in open sim, I felt it would be good to do something positive, just as I've seen other's do from time to time. It's not a "new" idea but it is sure a good one to get regions and grids networking with each other and growing a larger community. I'd like to announce that I'm going on vacation from OS for a time. But I've been on a vacation from OS already, for maybe two months now, and I'd have to interrupt my vacation to say that I'm not going on vacation because I'm already on vacation. So, no announcements. Mainly because, at this point, I'm confused about the whole vacation thing. However, while I'm pretty sure I'm on vacation from OS, I still log in to OSW on occasion to check on the What Are You Looking For group. The helpers there have been, and continue to be, incredible! Anyways, if you want to send me a message, I'm likely to see it, and I might just answer.

HOW TO USE THE MAINFRAME.
Download the free program wc3270 for windows. Install it. Set up a connection to cyberdatastorm.com:3270. Your logon ID & PASSWORD will be USER100 & PIZZA OR USER101 & TACOS . You will have access too JCL, COBOL, ASSEMBLY, C++, REXX, and will be able to use the SYSDUMPs. You will be on sysplex1 with full access to 3380, 3390, and 3350 DASD. You will also have access to IBM 3420 TAPE Unit. You can explore what a mainframe operating system is like and how it is different from personal computers. Obviously you will not have access to TOP SECRET or RACF. I often say that anyone can learn PC stuff (personal computers) like Linux, Windows, or Apple OSX by reading just 1 thick 2000 page book. But for the mainframe you need to read about 200-300 of those thick 2000 page books. It is way more complicated. There are 5 mainframe operating systems: IBM Unix called AIX, IBM vm/cms, IBM os/400, Digital Equipment Corp VMS, and the Zos family. This mainframe you are logging into is in the Zos family. It does support full ISPF/TSO and CDC's (cataloged datasets). You will not have access to easytrieve, expediter, endeavour, and CICS.

What is orb? Orb is a webtop operating system. This means, it's like having a working windows desktop computer, but in a browser window. WHY DOES IT MATTER? Well, imagine your avatar has a tablet in their hand, or cell phone, or a laptop. Now imagine your avatar can zoom in on the screen AND RUN REAL WORLD APPS and save data. Example: Your avatar could have a tablet in their hand that is running firestorm they are using to control another avatar. o.O You get it? Not only that, but this webtop computer is super fast and super responsive (no lag or delay at all). All you do is go here: https://gitlab.com/hsleisink/orb and download the latest release of orb to your linux machine, then gunzip it, then tar -xf. Then take the folder structure to your webroot. THIS WILL GIVE EVERY USER ON YOUR GRID THE ABILITY TO HAVE INWORLD WORKING DEVICES. Many users can set up free accounts. What's more is that letters they type and so on will be saved in their instance protected by their user name and password. :) Pretty cool huhhh?
