It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Luna Lunaria, a beloved friend, visionary creator, and cherished member of our community.
Just two days ago, Luna left us suddenly due to a massive heart attack, leaving all who knew them in shock and sorrow.
Luna was the heart behind Lunaria’s Emporium and Luxor, stores that became cornerstones in OpenSim. Through these creations, countless people found joy, inspiration, and connection. Luna’s work was more than commerce—it was artistry. From buildings to intricate items, every creation carried a spark of imagination and care that made them unforgettable.
What set Luna apart was not only extraordinary talent but also a profound dedication to others. Customers were never just buyers; they were valued friends. Luna always ensured that each person felt cared for, listened to, and delighted with what they received. This compassion, paired with creative brilliance, made Luna a living legacy in every sense.

A little rant. When SL implemented PBR textures, they included a script command called llSetRenderMaterial, which allows you to change the PBR material texture of a surface. Multiple scripts are now available there that do just that. This is similar to llSetTexture we've used forever to change the older blinn-phong textures.
When Opensim implemented their version of PBR, they decided that we didn't need osSetRenderMaterial activated for scripts, because really, who would actually use that stuff? If there's another more plausible reason I would love to hear it.
Ran into this trying to update a simple light sconce which allows you to touch the object to add light, fullbright, and glow to a surface to mimic a light that's turned on. For PBR, while turning on light is still the same, brightness and glow are managed by the emissive texture layer of a PBR Material. So to mimic a glowing light, you would need to be able to - you guessed it - CHANGE the material. But of course that's currently impossible in Opensim until someone incorporates that script function into code.
In the pics, you can see the PBR sconce on the left, and one with older textures on the right. In the top pic the light is off on both and in the bottom pic the light is on. The PBR glass looks great, and the light works, but you have no glow to show it's on. So for now, until osSetRenderMaterial is activated, I will have to set the glass material to always glowing. Or more likely, I will add a bulb inside with no PBR that will glow when touched.

Am Samstag 08.11.25 ist große Eröffnungsparty mit DJ Draupnir auf der Welcome von dem Andomeda-Grid im Andromeda-Club. Kommt zahlreich, schaut und erkundet die Welcome, es gibt vieles zu entdecken. Ab 19:00 Uhr geht`s dann im Club los und ihr könnt euch zu verschieden Musikrichtungen abzappeln. Von Schlager bis Rock, von Medival bis Viking ist alles dabei und vieles mehr.

All Holiday trees and decorations at Lunaria Emporium are now free and full perm for the season. All have been reworked and many have PBR textures added. I have trees, tree skirts, topiaries, wreaths, garlands, a snow couple, poinsettias, etc; some are prim and some are mesh. These are unique items available nowhere else in Opensim.
To find them, click the Holidays sign on the right as you enter the lobby.

Today is November 1st and in just 10 more days on November 11th, we pay special tribute to our Military Veterans who served this country faithfully and as they say, "All gave some and some gave all". In that direction of thought, I created this memorial which is an upgrade of one I had done a couple of years ago. If you would like a copy, you can find it at the landing spot for the mall. still time to head on over to this years Halloween addition Bloodthorn Acres Maze this place is filled with many spooks and a few tricks and u may even get a few laughs along the way dont forget to go in or click things or just stand near things a min or two as some things are on timers or set by distance so take your time the ambience and turn the enviroment setting to midnight to get the most out of this sim sized maze ,,,,,,, you can also visit the last 2 yrs places as well as stated in the previous post.... so come on over and take the bloodthorn acres porter to visit this years halloween maze we hope you enjoy and if u make it all the way out??lol,,,,,,check the barn wall for a freebie or 2 adding another gift today~s

I wanted to close the 2 Halloweens sims very soon at the end of the weekend. Thank you for visiting the sims and the interest in it..
But I leave with a big bang . Forget about the cartoon ghostbusters. Meet the real ghostbusters! Here are Peter,Egon,Winston,Ray and Janine. Complete with the library ghost ,slimer, a plasma gun and a proton backpack. Background not included, make you own story! Have fun and thank you again!
