Little hacker bastard. Look how big the story is. You can hack as much as you want. It doesn't change the story. You are only momentary and nothing you do as a hacker makes you bigger. You are nothing, you have nothing, you will not have been in the end. How pathetic and pitiful. You think what you do is important and right. But you are alone, frustrated, and your hacking successes are those pathetic self-affirmations that don't really satisfy you. You want a world where you are respected. But you are not able to find your way in this world. Not able to approach people and see and accept the positive. To be or not to be, that is the question. In the end it was light or nothing. It's up to you. The negative cannot win. The + always flows to the - and no hacker turns it around. Hackers are mostly children of drug parents or rich people who are socially unfit. So sad, OK smart kids wake up sometime and make something of their life. Failures give up and their characters become impoverished. They fight hard for recognition in an environment where everyone is abusing everyone else to achieve the same illusion. In principle intelligent .... but what use is it if you are socially unfit? About the newest Firestorm Viewer: I want to love it, but I don't. I really do love PBR materials and they show up just fine with the new viewer and they seem to have fixed the blurry, out of focus view when you move around in-world. Problem is, Animesh. I have to be right on top of the animesh to see it move. Koshari and I were in-world tonight and couldn't see any animesh moving unless we were right next to them and even then they seemed to lag out a bit. We both changed our viewer to the old, pre PBR viewer 6.6.17 and could see the animesh moving from all the way across the sim. My guess is that, because you are constantly rendering PBR textures in-world, they decreased the animation visibility to compensate for it. Until Firestorm gives us a toggle, slider, or patch to bring back proper animation distance, sticking with 6.6.17 is the smart move. The PBR viewer is beautiful, but not worth sacrificing functional animesh. That's a hard pass for me
Anyone have thoughts on this? Does anyone have any inside scoop on whether they plan on fixing this.

Instead of actually animating them, it just shows the last frame and saves performance.

In the PBR viewer, the rendering pipeline is heavier (PBR = shiny but hungry), so the viewer culls animations more aggressively.

My PBR Japanese Home at Lunaria Emporium has been updated with better reflection probe coverage and improved day lighting inside. As seen in the photo, there are light switches in each room that control the different zones and the colors represent different lighting types.
Blue is for inside daylight and red is for the interior lamplight. The green one is only in the front room and out in the garden in the pavilion and controls exterior lighting.

The hidden grotto at Luxor has been updated with PBR textures
Ages ago, I satirized events in SL like "Best in Bikini" and "Best in Cute" with my “Best In Demo” event. SL Creators used demo tags and took other such measures to prevent people from using a free version as a final, permanent piece. So, imagine your Avatar using a pre-mesh no-mod shape from a shop with demo sized huge hands and feet. You'd be wearing flexihair with demo signs attached. Add on a skin extensively tattooed with “demo,” and wearing clothing with the word demo woven into the texture. You'd have a nightmare of an avatar – and one that might win the “Best In Demo” event. The prize? A demo version of a trophy.
The event was hilarious, and so popular that other clubs copied the idea. You can say my “Best in Demo” event was a demo for Best In Demo events.Then came OS. Sadly, there are no demos here, and so, no Best In Demo events either. But there are other fun event ideas. Consider “Best In Complexity”. It's actually a bad event idea, and found in the OSW group "Best of Bad Event Ideas." The group has a new bad event idea: Best In Doomscrolling. Hi everyone!! It's 16 days till Halloween! Halloween costume parties will be starting soon so better start shopping for those funny, scary or sexy costumes! Where can you get them? Mermaid's Cove, of course!! Lots of other places too!! We have lots of costumes and fall decor at The Cove and when you land at the costume shop, there's a box of Halloween region LMs too!! Don't forget to grab that! If you are looking for something I don't have out or you can't find, IM me! I might have it! 8 years of collecting in open sim, I don't have room to put it all out!
