Kaze has changed names and has expanded. It is now Kaze no Chiiki and has been designed on a 2x2 with VivoSim, drive-able vehicles, 10 areas to explore and more. This is a work in progress, but open to all. In time there will be shops (freebies, Japanese style furniture, decor, etc), VivoSim Japanese expansions and more. Looks like OpenSim users are getting increasingly anxious that e.g. Mississippi and UK law enforcement will kill every last OpenSim grid on the grounds of their age verification laws, what with none of them having verified the real-life age of all their users. Even if a grid runs in Kazakhstan under a Russian domain with a Kazakh and Russian admin team.

"This will so totally happen!"

The self-same people, however, appear not to be afraid at all that Linden Lab and SL content creators will kill ANY OpenSim grid on the grounds of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, what with almost all of them blistering with stolen SL content. Not even if a grid runs in the USA under a US domain with an all-American admin team.

"This will so totally NEVER happen!"

Pray tell, why should the former wipe OpenSim out in no time while the latter hasn't even happened to one measly OpenSim grid in over ten years of copybotting tons of expensive premium luxury content in SL and offering it in OpenSim as full-perm freebies? Not even after these announcements by Linden Lab themselves from early this year?

Oh, and OpenSim cannot survive without selling the most private personal data of every last one of its users to some big, commercial, corporate age-verification service? But at the same time, OpenSim cannot survive either without breaking international copyright and intellectual property laws left and right?

Oh, and by the way: The most that Mississippi and the UK can do against a grid is try to fine it. The most that Linden Lab can do against a grid is Cease & Desist it out of existence.

A curious message landed in my inbox today, bringing to light a common frustration within the virtual world: someone had picked up a Xara body on a specific grid and was stumped by its "Auto Alpha" feature. My immediate thought was, "Well, you should really go back to the grid where you acquired it and ask them for assistance." And if they can't provide the answers, it truly highlights a significant issue: why are entities distributing freebies of products they clearly don't understand or support themselves? This ongoing problem underscores precisely why, if you're genuinely seeking a LaraX or Xara body, it's always best to come directly to the source. Let's be clear: Vesti is the original creator of the Xara body, and any other versions or distributions you encounter are, frankly, the work of thieves. Ultimately, for genuine support, authentic products, and the true understanding of features like "Auto Alpha," trusting the original maker is paramount, as all other offerings are merely unauthorized imitations.

I recently listed the shops that were recommended in the What Are You Looking For group in the past six months as a way to encourage these and other shop owners to join the group and help people find stuff they are looking for.

Next up to our opensim public library is the #1 selling book on the planet...the Holy Bible! We hope you have use for this and can gain strength and inspiration. Bearing that in mind, i am aware there are a number of different faiths and beliefs out there. I am respectful of others beliefs, so keep in mind i will be deleting and maybe blocking anyone that tries to take a positive thing for a large group of people, and turn it into a heated debate, flaming, trolling. A *BIG* shout out to Cyberglo Cyberstar, who has been so generous and kind with his time, adding 1 fix to take us to version 1.1 and allow pages to move backwards. Then the next day taking us to version 2.0 and allowing us the potential to make books in minutes rather than days and hours. and yet a 3rd update already to take us to script version 2.3!

New Features from 2.0 to 2.3:

Can now view the cover by clicking left side from page 1, to close the book/show cover. Adds a professionalism and another level of realism to the book experience. (also close book from menu)

Which leads us to the bigger features...a menu is added! holding down the left mouse ANYWHERE on the book for 5-10 seconds will give a popup menu:
1)page number 2)bookmarks 3)close book

We already mentioned 3 and self explanatory.
1- page number: push this to jump to any of the 1119 pages of this book
2- bookmarks: that's right, save your place, or simply remember some significant pages. you can name each page and you can create a bookmark using the menu, or you can edit the notecard (PATIENCE! it DOES take some computers a bit of time to load 1,119 images!)

Now keep in mind, you want to follow the examples already laid out in the notecard that is included. you can simply edit or erase this once you have the jist of how to name and format the notecard. (dont be silly like me and try to save a page as "John 3:16"....it needs the : to tell it what page to go to...so rather than take me to page 987 or what have you, it took me to page 16.

Yes, I am already aware some adjustments need to be made to the numbering system/script. For now, use it for what it is, and be grateful for the minutes to hours it will save you getting you relatively close to the page you wish to jump to or bookmark. We will obviously do our best to make this more accurate. ENJOY!

Tipi Tacos Truck Freebie. I know, more food...lol. Tipi Tacos are an Indigenous fusion cuisine and very popular. Sometimes called "Indian Tacos", Navajo Tacos or Bannock Tacos. The Grove Bistro is a freebie little restaurant anyone can come and copy/buy for 0 on Birch Grove Spring. A while back I found both this cute little building (on Klamotto region) as well as a really cool collection of food on Sketchfab from a RL restaurant. I have been meaning to make a restauant combining both elements. Be aware there are some separate parts. The tables are LK from the Moonlight series and they have all the plates in them. I didn't like the square plates the originals came with so it's all on some classic round plates made by Sunny from OpenSimCreations. It was sorta supposed to be for Valentines day but the time got away on me so it's just for anytime and a cool place for your avs to go pretent to eat...lol. Not everything is free to copy/buy for 0 if it came from other creators and the perms were not so. Beside the cemetary and behind the Afree Hair Salon. Enjoy!

I've added two more items to my freebie Farm Store :D

Actually, they are the same thing, but one of them is completely empty so that you may add the products you would like to have in them to use for yourself :D

(JUST DON'T FORGET TO MAKE A COPY OF THE EMPTY ONE BEFORE YOU USE IT! :D ) But there will still be the empty barrel in your inventory because it's copyable1 :D BUT STILL! :D It's always good practice to make a copy of your items that you will be working on :D

OK these barrels I have made up are the same barrels, but they have some ingredients that you will use in them. I believe I put the main ingredients in them that you use most of the time.

For those of you who know how to add ingredients in them you may do so.

For those of you who do NOT know how to add your own selection of ingredients in the barrels I will be adding a notecard on how to do that at a later time. :D

1 Sunshine Gal Barrel
1 Cat Barrel
1 Cat Barrel

I used my own AI textures that I made in Night Cafe.

The empty barrel is all set for you to add your own textures as well :D

There are 3 parts to each barrel.

The top.
The bottom.
The body.

So, if you're texturing them with your own textures, you must add the textures to each part of the barrel separately.
No need to unlink the barrels just edit linked and add. You can also select 'face' as well.

If you want to add your own product or a specific product you go into the object of the product that you want.

All these items have most of the farming products inside of them.

Click on one of those & go into edit.

Here is where all the farming items are added to.

Go into the content tab.

Then you will scroll down, and you will see boxes with names on them.

(The barrels that I have are all set up to receive product. So, you don't need to add anything more but the product itself. No scripts, no notecards, just the product itself.)

Take one or more of those products and bring it inworld.

Then, take that product and put it into your inventory.

After taking it into your inventory, you go into edit on the empty barrel and add in there what you would like.

If you have a product that you made, you can do the same thing with that.

Then all you do is go and reset the scripts, & WAH LAH! There is your own personal homemade barrel of whatever you like! :D

Take a copy of that barrel you just filled and add it to your inventory for safe keeping :D

All the adding items to & subtracting items are on a notecard inside of the inventory. That is the ONLY thing you will have to change is the notecard, NOT the script.

There is also an area on SOME of the products like the chicken coop where you can change the numbers to how much you want them in the description area, too.

I'm adding another post to here so that I can explain that to you.

I just use copy and paste to do that.
