Working on a V3 (VERSION 3) of the Weather Online System. A friend once reminded me "-What about cities you find on many places with same name?". I was a valid question: V2 script would take one randomly. Now, one can either specify on dialog menu "Springfield, IL,US (Illinois, United States) or insert the latitude/longitude coordinates. Also I made all, I said ALL countries codes available on script so if one select a city, it will show on open chat the full name in English of the country. Still need do some tweaks and test before releasing it.

Of all the venues I've made, this is the one I see most often in photos from around the hypergrid. It's also my oldest venue, which means it is far overdue for a rebuild with better mesh and PBR. There is an overhaul of all the venues planned for the near future. Currently I'm preparing for an upcoming exhibition I'm excited to be part of, after that I'll have to work the venues in between game development, writing, and other projects some of you have been asking for. I wanted a variety of car garages, so I built some. I thought maybe someone else would like to have them too. They range from 13 to 27 prims and are designed to sink slightly into the ground. They are FP, so you can tint or recolor if you wish. They are all set to take a copy. Find them behind the main shop. Look for the big NEW sign in the sky. Please let me know if you encounter any issues, as I am using a new door script. Dragon not included. ;)

In just the past 6 months, people in the "What Are You Looking For" group have assisted other group members by recommending the shops on this list as a place to find the stuff they were looking for. Some of the owners of these shops are helpers in the group. No surprise then that their shop was recommended. They had the stuff, and they let people know.

"Hairpinning" Public Safety Annoucement and a small favor to ask of home Opensimulator server owners.

If you added a MAC address to a ban list, you may ban yourself, or ban all uses from any grid that uses a Loopback adapter for hairpinning. The problem is all Loopback adapters use the same MAC address. There is a different one for each type, such as WIndows, Mac and Linux.

Opensimulator servers require routers with working hairpinning so the server can find itself at the WAN's public IP. Loopback adapters are sometimes necessary at the server because not all home routers support hairpinning, a.k.a. Loopback. Only the the server can log in to itself, when the server has a loopback adapter. Others on thje same LAN can use a VPN, which moves the network endpoint outside the LAN, and onto the WAN.

Also, a lot of people think Loopback is needed for the Hypergrid. It's not. It only so the server can see itself at the external WAN IP.

I help maintain a list at http://opensimulator.org/wiki/NAT_Loopback_Routers of compatible and incompatible routers. Please, do us all a huge favor, and if your router for your home server is not listed, please comment the brand, model number and whether loopback works or not, and I will add it.

After almost 2 years in development (yeah i'm slow), I realize it could be another 2 years before the Chased region is ready. So i've decided to open up for testing. You are invited to come for some random surprises and fun. I'm not giving away much info here, you'll find out when you get there...

A damage enabled fae region full of surprises and pretty (and dangerous) things. Some basic skills like knowing how to run and jump, will keep you alive a little longer. Things are random, even I frequently die there!

My regions are hosted on my pc, and can run only a few avatars at once. If by chance the region has many visitors and you find lag, you might want to come back later when its quiet.
