Welcome to Pendle Hollow!! This is Harmony speaking! LOL! We were going to open Pendle Hollow with a big birthday bash for Pixey and Harmony's rl birthdays, but Hurricane Milton had other plans! Pixey is in Florida and got through the hurricanes and has power but no internet and they aren't expecting it to be restored for another week or more, so she asked me to go ahead and open the region for al of our open sim friends! I am cleaning up after the storm of building and landscaping and will have this scary, beautiful region opened Friday with a little construction still going on and shops to fill!

Pendle Hollow is a Halloween themed region based on the Pendle Witches (Pixey, Harmony and Macy!) in England in 1612! We don't practice witchcraft and believe that witches are good and loving, at least we are! We will still have our party with DJ Macy spinning some spooky rock, country and other Halloween delights so please watch for our announcement!

I had some time to play with PBR thank you @FerdFrederix for suggesting I try it, and as you can see it makes the jewelry look so much better!! Nice! But that means I have my work cut out for me, I have lots of jewelry to update. I will have a PBR section at the store, keeping the old classic textures because not all grids support PBR, this is the first piece I will get it in the store today sometime, Celtic Knot Picture Locket.

Infinity 11 is still available for wolf grid residence to find a place to live. However, there is now a short screening to qualify for security purposes. I try to provide a safe place to call home in a nice environment.

It's finally completed, the Lavine Mansion!! Inspired by a wonderful friend and amazing builder/creator/designer Koshari Mahana, I decided to create my own mansion borrowing a few ideas from one of her builds. This mansion has all the charm of the Victorian Era, with downright "royal" beauty. It has a huge kitchen area, dining area, study or Livingroom and a sunroom or garden room washroom/bathroom on the first floor, the 2nd floor boasts 5 bedrooms and a large bathroom, the 3rd floor has 4 guest rooms or dorms for visitors and the 4th floor is all attic space. You really have to see this beauty to appreciate the time, effort and detail put into it. It's only drawback is it has a land impact of 812, but it's worth every bit of it. There is one small porch on the front for the 2nd floor and two much larger porches on the back of the house for the 1st floor and 2nd floor. Stop by and check it out, it is on the 1st level of the mall grounds just below the fantasy floating homes. It's full perm and free for any who would like it. Blessings and much love, Lavia.

It's not too late to participate in OSFest 2024 where free land is available for exhibits and stores. The festival runs from Oct 4-20, 2024 but we have a load test party on Sept 20, 2024 from 10am to 1 pm. Staff will be on hand as Rogue and Thalion rock the house. Join us!

The second phase of the Egyptian Display area at Lunaria Emporium is now open, which includes the smaller items such as statues, columns, flora, and the small temple. Some of the items are free and full perm. The third phase will be the completion of the pyramid that's there.

Announcing the Mermaid's first open sim project! (Besides our very own beautiful home!) We are happy to be exhibitors at The OpenSim World's Fair beginning March 2025! Our exhibit is but a small piece of our region, just to give you all a peek at what we have to offer! There are absolutely incredible builds there now so we can't imagine the excitement when the fair opens! They have fabulous entertainment planned too! This is the biggest, brightest event I have every witnessed in open sim! (I think they have a few spots left!) Please mark your calendars! You don't want to miss it for sure! I've been working on this turn of the century "Store House" which is a Store and a House. Back in the 19th century and early 20th century, and in fact some places still today, are designed so that folks can run their business from the first floor of their home which was generally kept separate from the living quarters of the house. This house is designed with walnut floors, sponge plaster ceilings, acacia wood trim and lattice (semi Tudor) windows. It has three chimneys which service all three floors. There was little to no indoor plumbing back then and the type of heat we have today did not exist so they had either a fireplace or coal or wood stove on each floor to provide adequate heat. Some homes did have hand pumps for water in them but most water was carried in buckets from a well nearby and heated on the coal or wood stoves to use for cooking, cleaning, laundry and bathing. If you happen to be working on a western or midwestern town setting, this build would be perfect for you. A little piece of history always adds a authentic touch to any region. It is full perm, however, it is total mesh so removing parts is not advisable, however you may re texture it, just understand that even back then, when they found wallpaper (most folks only had wood or plaster) they used the same wallpaper in every room, so if you re texture the entire inside of the build will be that texture. The walls are two faced in that you can put one texture on the outside of the building and a different one on the inside and all of the baseboards are a different texture. You may copy it and or transfer it or share it to others. Just have fun with it...Blessings and much love, Lavia

Something I've been working with for a while now was how to make a decent tree trunk and branches and finally, at last, I got one that doesn't look too bad. It's a North American Pignut Hickory, or what we always called a Hognut tree. They're beautiful and provide lots of shade especially when you're on a walk through the woods in the summer and they smell so good in the fall, and the hickory wood burning on a campfire or in a fireplace smells so good! Anyway, it's at the mall in the garden center waiting just for you to beautify your region. Pop in and take a look around and go a little "nuts"...pun intended. The tree is fully mesh and just 1 prim and it's full perm and free. Blessings and much love, Lavia

Someone was asking me about getting Moonshine for the VivoSim (Satyr, Quintonia) Farming System.

I couldn't find it anywhere except this one place but there was nowhere to get a copy of it, so I decided to make it myself! :)
It was easier than I thought! :)

FYI: You CAN get drunk from this, so be careful to not drink too much if you don't want to get drunk! :0
Also, if you want to get drunk, you will need to use the HUD that I have modified and included in this box.

3 EXPLANATORY NOTECARDS

This is something new that I have been getting into, must be tried & tested. I've tested this repeatedly. If you have problems with it do not hesitate to let me know & I will make any alterations needed.

RE: THE VIVO SIM HUD WILL GIVE AN ERROR MESSAGE SAYING "Sorry, you need a VivoSim linked to your avatar to use the messaging system". THIS WILL CHANGE AFTER YOU PUT THE NEW HUD ON. JUST GIVE IT SEVERAL SECONDS TO TALK TO THE SERVER! It will also repeat this: "VivoSim-HUD-V6.08 Beta: " JUST TAKE THE HUD OFF ONCE YOU ARE DONE USING IT.

I sent this to two other grids after finally finishing tweaking it. It worked on each of those grids. I will test it out on other grids if need be. But it seemed to work on those two grids that I tested this system out on.

I have this both at the landing point as well as in the barn where I make it. If you want to go into the barn, when you get to the landing point, just click again on the landmark and it will take you right there!
