The best radio station in Second Life is now available across the entire metaverse and the pirate DJ's at Black Cat Radio have landed at Avedon Park!
Black Cat Radio is an online radio station that is totally listener-supported based on the classic pirate radio stations that popped up off the coasts of the UK and in the deserts of the US in the 60's and 70's. It features a hand curated music library of over 1600 tracks (no repeats!) and is never too soft or too loud. What really makes Black Cat Radio cool is that you can go to their website and make a request or dedicate a song and it is played almost instantly! You can plop the land URL onto your land in Open Sim like we do at Avedon Park (http://usa19.fastcast4u.com/blackcat) or you can listen online. You can listen on your PC, play it on your buds or listen in your car!
You can visit the in-world radio station at Avedon Park. We've set them up on their own little island right next to "Nervous Charlie's" fireworks and liquor Store. There are those who associate nudity with the threat of child abuse and exploitation. However, moral panic leads to claims that "exaggerate the seriousness, extent, typicality and/or inevitability of harm" For example, if nudity always invites or incites sexual behavior, all-age clothing-optional beaches and resorts in RL would be closed.

Some people object to even clothed child AVs. Is this also a result of moral panic? Maybe. But it could be a mental health issue. An emotional state of fear, disdain, aversion, or prejudice toward children or youth is known as paedophobia. It is a condition diagnosed and treated by psychiatrists. There is hope, people. There is hope.

But, for now, these folks should stay away from SL. Some lurid facts about that place. If someone is at least 13 years of age in RL, they can use Second Life with some restrictions. You could not only encounter teen AVs in SL, you might even meet some RL teens. SL does have a policy about age-play, but says, "Merely having a childlike avatar does not violate this policy. It is not our intent to banish childlike avatars in and of themselves". Isn't it ironic? On this issue, SL is more open than some are on Open Sim.

In the past, simply stating these facts about SL has resulted in my being stalked in OS and threatened by, I think the clinical term is, cuckoo-bananas wack-a-doodle cray-crays. The truth is that my regions in OS are for adult AVs only. I have nothing against child AVs, as such. I just prefer to avoid dealing with unbalanced moral crusaders.

Majestic whales breach the surface, their massive bodies breaking through the shimmering waves, and they emit powerful spouts of water as they exhale. Their playful antics in the water create a sense of wonder and awe, as if they are celebrating the new day's beginning.

Amongst the whales, elegant manta rays gracefully glide through the water, their wings undulating like ethereal dancers. They add a touch of grace and beauty to the scene, as if nature itself is putting on a spectacular show just for you.
