ABER: einen Grid-Namen kann man ändern, den schlechten Character des Owners und seiner Cyber-Ehefrau nicht. Mick Florido besaß das *Germanworldgrid*, eines der erfolgreichsten deutschen Grids, bis seine Cyber-Ehefrau Emma Florido kam, die unter Verfolgungswahn leidet.
Unter ihrem Einfluß wurden zahlreiche langjährige Member gemobbt, verleumdet, raus geekelt und verbannnt. Als Krönung wurden einige dieser Member in den TOS namentlich genannt sowie die fadenscheinigen Gründe, die zu dieser Verbannung führten. (Nachzu lesen in einer Gruppe bei Facebook)
Als *EmmaMercury* lief sie in SL jeder Hose nach, die sie jetzt in Opensim gefunden hat. Sie zerstörte eine gut funktionierende Gemeinschaft, die jetzt in alle Winde zerstreut ist.
In dieses neue Grid kommen nur neue Member auf Empfehlung, die außerdem u.a. unterschreiben müssen, mit keinem der ehemaligen Member in Kontakt zu treten.

Under the pretense of technically improving the Germanworldgrid, this grid was stamped and now runs under the name * virtualvistametaverse.com (VVM for short) *
BUT: You can change a grid name, but not the bad character of the owner and his cyber wife. Mick Florido owned the *Germanworldgrid*, one of the most successful German grids, until his cyber-wife Emma Florido arrived, who suffers from paranoia.
Under their influence, numerous long-standing members were bullied, slandered, kicked out and banished. To top it off, some of these members were named in the TOS, as well as the flimsy reasons leading to this banishment. (You can read it in a group on Facebook)
As *EmmaMercury* she ran after every pair of pants in SL that she has now found in Opensim. It destroyed a well-functioning community that is now scattered to the four winds.
In this new grid, only new members come through recommendations, who also have to sign, among other things, and not come into contact with any of the former members.
I recommend Emma Florido, a very good psychiatrist.

My virtual campaign office at Kawabunga Bay surf region. I am running for State Representative in RL (and likely to win). The people on my grid can't vote of course, but my Partner brought up the funny point that they are all virtual residents of Ward 5 in our city. So it is relevant. :)

HOW TO USE THE MAINFRAME.
Download the free program wc3270 for windows. Install it. Set up a connection to cyberdatastorm.com:3270. Your logon ID & PASSWORD will be USER100 & PIZZA OR USER101 & TACOS . You will have access too JCL, COBOL, ASSEMBLY, C++, REXX, and will be able to use the SYSDUMPs. You will be on sysplex1 with full access to 3380, 3390, and 3350 DASD. You will also have access to IBM 3420 TAPE Unit. You can explore what a mainframe operating system is like and how it is different from personal computers. Obviously you will not have access to TOP SECRET or RACF. I often say that anyone can learn PC stuff (personal computers) like Linux, Windows, or Apple OSX by reading just 1 thick 2000 page book. But for the mainframe you need to read about 200-300 of those thick 2000 page books. It is way more complicated. There are 5 mainframe operating systems: IBM Unix called AIX, IBM vm/cms, IBM os/400, Digital Equipment Corp VMS, and the Zos family. This mainframe you are logging into is in the Zos family. It does support full ISPF/TSO and CDC's (cataloged datasets). You will not have access to easytrieve, expediter, endeavour, and CICS.

Dear Lily Sparks. I don't know if you will see this, but I made you a special version of my mesh object vendor. It is just for textures. All you do is copy & paste the textures into it. That's it. No renaming, No muss, No Fuss. It just works and is very low lag and super low cpu usage. :) It's at cyberdatastorm.com:8002:SandBox Make sure to get the one that has the textures on the face, there are TWO vendors there one for objects and one for textures and they look just alike. The texture vendor I stuck some seamless elven wallpaper textures in so you could tell them apart. :) Your Friend Cyber

Current Affairs Statement:

We are not concerned with traffic numbers or grid rankings and we have no desire to provide a mall or store and have our grid constantly feeding hungry travellers who take everything in a single visit. We provided items that could be used in stores and malls who do wish traffic and numbers and rankings and if that is how they want to play? We will not interfere. We should all be able to have fun and share the good things OS has to offer without any dramas. However, many people seem to have an issue with this and others also want to claim kudos for new products on their regions which we developed and they simply removed our logo and rebox them. As if this wasn't enough? They then restrict the perms to no copy or no trans or both. This is in direct contradiction to why we developed the assets in the first instance and this is why despite our 'Mission Statement' and wish to avoid dramas we have removed our products.
We will continue to develop and build on the assets we had always planned on doing and when the Open Sim community is ready to treat both our assets and our wishes with respect we may release them but until then we remain NotSorry.

I'm really at my wit's end. I can't get any kind of straight answer as to when I can expect to have my region back up. Whoever owns the server that my region was moved to, travels and has no idea when they'll return. (who lives like that?) They're apparently just waiting for this person to return while doing nothing to contact them. The only backup that was kept is from 2021. Which isn't going to cut it. Grrrrr

What to do if you missed out on vivox voice? Well. There is a free program for windows/linux/mac called mumble. It has 2 parts. a program that you run as a small server, and a program that you run as a client. Mumble currently supports over 30 games, including such games as call of duty with an overlay plugin. An overlay plugin is not yet developed for opensimulator, however... BUT you don't have to do all that. You can just run the mumble server, then you and your friends can download the mumble client on their mac, linux box, or windows pc, and they can easily connect to your mumble server. Once everyone is on your mumble server they can type chat to each other, or talk voice to each other over their microphone. The game overlay part just adds additional features to the game, so that it appears your voice is coming from a specific location, rather than being ubiquitous. If you have any questions on how to set up your own private voice server, please msg me, and I will help you. :)

Ok I have a question for the users who read these posts. This region is clothing for Athena rigged clothing and I was wondering how many of you would be interested in my also releasing the same designs for the Legacy body?? If there is enough intrest for the legacy outfits I will start getting the textures etc ready and do some legacy releases as well as the ongoing Athena releases.

Thank you @JupiterRowland for bringing to my attention that I included my MashUp OSW beacon in the recent OAR I gave out to the Outworldz DreamGrid community. Those that have that OAR can you please do me a huge favor and delete the OSW Beacon that was included in the MashUp OAR you have. Then restart your sims. It would be greatly appreciated. I have updated the OAR and Fred will get it in the updater soon. I apologize for that oversight. Thanks again, Jupiter!

Presenting the OVERWATCH SENTRY. What does it do? Well, you can enter a list of grids to ban, people to ban by name, ip, or key. It also monitors each person that comes into your sim, and if they are wearing too many scripts to try and crash your sim, it bans them. If they are using too much sim memory and eating up all system resources, it bans them. If they are flying and you turn off flying in the system, it bans them. If they are too tall or too short, it bans them. So it does a lot, and it's all settable by you. I didn't do ban by age because avatar age is unreliable and can return a 0 day age. The device is by the christmas tree at cyberdatastorm.com:8002/wizardry. It's a different kind of device from a security system. Security systems ban everyone except those you allow in. This lets everybody in - but it checks them to make sure they are not hacking or trying to hurt your sim, but it can also ban people from a list. It's really simple to use, just add the name to the appropriate list in the objects inventory, then just click to turn it on. Only the owner can turn it on or off.
