Winter is here, Yay! Well, yay for some :).
I have a new release today, fairly whimsical; Polar Bear Ceiling Lights. They were made as ceiling lights and they are resizable. I did a large version separately as the automatic light script had to be adjusted for the life size bears.
There are automatic and manual light scripts in the regular size lights, you can delete the auto script in the large ones and put in the manual if you like.
I have a couple of more ideas for the bears that will be out soon.

For many years, OSGrid has been held together by a community of people who show remarkable dedication. Fantastic news, everyone! Adani and I have been absolutely buzzing, working hard to completely repair those tricky color HUD problems that popped up on the Xengine grids in the Legacy region! I've just finished replacing all the scripts, and I'm so thrilled to say we're officially reopening the area! If you happen to run into any little issues at all, please don't hesitate to give me a shout, and I'll be right there to fix it up for you as quickly as I possibly can. Oh, and to all the guys out there – I know I don't have a huge amount of men's wear ready just yet, but I've put everything I have out for you, and I'm beyond excited to announce that the men's side of the Legacy region is now OPEN!

Picked up the lovely Celia avatar from Agartha just for the gown, which is gorgeous just with the regular textures. But I couldn't resist adding the gold pbr textures you see here. The dress is no transfer, so I can't give away a copy, but I put out a box in the lobby at Lunaria Emporium with the materials and textures I created for it. You can find it near the group joiner next to a viking outfit, both are free and full perm to use how you like.

My fifth rezday. Juno's fourth rezday.

World Jazz day, much to Juno's delight (unfortunately, I guess nobody played jazz in OpenSim tonight).

And, much to Juno's delight again, the day before yesterday was officially the 100th anniversary of art déco.

So not only did Juno put on one of her Kaydi Rose art déco gowns again, but she took me to what has to be the most art déco place all over the Hypergrid for this photo shooting.

The Arctic Henge is a monument to Asatru, the beliefs of the Old Norse. It is located in Raufarhöfn (*), the northernmost settlement of mainland Iceland.
The Arctic Henge is a site consisting of many stone arches and statues arranged as a monument to the Norse pagan beliefs. Specifically, the piece was inspired by Völuspá, a poem from Edda, the ‘Bible’ of Norse Mythology. Völuspá translates to the Prophecy of the Seeress.This poem describes both how the world was created and how it is doomed to end; it also describes the first man and woman created and catalogs many mythical characters, including the dwarves. 72 of these dwarves, who are said to be symbols of the seasons of the world, are represented at the Arctic Henge, each as an individual block inscribed with a name. These blocks encircle four greater stone arches, which in turn encircle a great column of four pillars. The stone arches on site are arranged to capture the light of the Midnight Sun as it moves across the sky in summer; on June 21st, for example, it aligns perfectly with the south arch. In this way, it is somewhat of a modern Stonehenge.

The Arctic Henge is still under construction. The central column, for example, will be tipped with a prism glass that refracts the sun’s light, and the Throne of the Sun, where you can sit to admire the celestial bodies, will soon be added. Also in the works are the Hall of Rays, a place designed for spiritual renewal, and the Altar of Fire and Water, where rituals, ceremonies, and weddings will be conducted.
(*) Raufarhöfn is located on the Melrakkaslétta Peninsula, which reaches the northernmost latitudes on the Icelandic mainland; only Grímsey, an island community on the Arctic Circle, is further north. As such, it is one of the country’s furthest settlements from the capital, Reykjavík, which sits in the south-east.
