I want to thank everyone that came to my Grand Opening. Thanks to all of you, it was a fun party. I appreciate the support and new friendships I made. Our total count was 41...me being the 1. :) A special thanks to Lavia and Unadecal for helping me spread the word, and Una especially for being there to make sure things ran smoothly (they did) and always being supportive of my work. The Land Of Xzar is now open for visitors so please come any time and explore. I have spent the past 6 months rebuilding for the 5th time!! Now I get OARs, so this should be the last build, though you are never truly finished, I think. Like my castle. It is like the Winchester house in CA. It keeps growing. The whole region is divided into parcels, including the rivers so they have their own parcel and names. They all have their own EEP as well. There are a few parcels I am still working on, but the rest is pretty much done. Be sure and have your viewer set to shared environment and have sound on as there is sound everywhere. There IS music, but you are missing out if that is what you are listening to rather than the sounds of the land, though I am still working on adding more as there are still some silent pockets. Don't be afraid to say hi if you see me and I promise I won't bother you as I want you to enjoy exploring. The Land Of Xzar is the visual of my upcoming novel by the same name. I currently have regions on four grids, three of which are part of the NGC (Next Generation Core) group of grids (8-10 grids at last count), who together are developing their own improved fork of Opensim. All three have great owners who can be easily reached through dedicated grid channels on Discord, and all have been tremendously supportive of my work.

Of those three, Wolf Territories Grid has become my main location (the other two are Mobius Grid and Utopia Skye Grid). All NGC grid owners are deeply committed to making their grid the best possible for their users. That is especially true for Lone Wolf at Wolf Territories when it comes to speed, security, stability, and the organization of servers and architecture.

For example, look at the console pictured here. By logging in to the website, multiple options are available to me: Restart the region, Update the map of the region, Download the most current OAR, Backup the region to create a new OAR that I can then download, or flatten the region terrain. By clicking Edit, additional options open up: I can change the region name, change the region currency from Gloebits to the local currency, or change the region physics from Ubode to Bulletsim.

And all those things we hope will work on a grid do here: Group notifications, Offline messages sent to email, a working Destination Guide, region crossings, and local currency transaction history, among others. I for one am deeply appreciative.

I have a small selection of Japanese inspired structures and accessories at Lunaria Emporium, such as tea houses, garden pavilions, torii gates, bridges, art, sculptures, lighting, and a lovely mesh Sakura Cherry Tree, with or without Kodama spirits. Thank you @FredBeckhusen for lending me a hand with the SkyRealm Observatory! Fred finished up the major parts of the OAR tonight and when creating the sim, I loved Darkness Papp's Rivendell surround and landscaping and thought the Observatory would fit nicely there, so I merged the two and did a bit of arranging to combine the two. I still have tweaking to do but we are getting closer~Thank you!!

Make no mistake, what I like is astronomy, not rockets....

But doing this simulator (it's endless...), I'm realizing many things.

1. I have gone where I was not called.

2. The Russian-Ukrainian conflict reaches the space.

The international station, the ISS, is falling apart... The docked Soiuz has large meteorite impacts. An unmanned one will arrive on February 20 to return the astronauts to Earth (only the Russians)...

Russia has decided not to carry supplies and the ISS has to start its engines every day, to maintain orbit and not fall, plus water and food.

SpaceX has a spacecraft there, but it only holds 4 people out of the 7 that inhabit it in total. In case of emergency, if something happens before February 20, they will not be able to return in the SpaceX spacecraft either, the astronauts' suits are custom-made for each one, so the Russians could not return in it (they could not sit down for re-entry).

SpaceX will continue to carry supplies (as long as NASA pays), but we all know how Elon Musk's business is going.

NASA on the other hand, is investing in the Moon colonization project, they didn't count on fixing the ISS.... Besides, their latest plan, as they fail to land on Luna with the Orion, is to... crash the spacecraft (the necessary instruments are saved for now, they say). I'm sure this is quite economical

Will the ISS make it to 2031, when it was scheduled to be destroyed in the ocean?
My guess is that international politics will destroy it sooner.

Taking into account, that there is a new space race between SpaceX, China, Arab Emirates, USA and some crazy couple who want to go to Mars (right now nobody is able to reach the Moon and land, but they want to go to Mars...).

Why invest in Mars? Why did we go to Luna?

No os equivoquéis, lo que me gusta es la astronomía, no los cohetes....

Pero haciendo este simulador (es interminable...), me estoy dando cuenta de muchas cosas.

1. Me he metido donde no me llamaban.

2. El conflicto ruso-ucraniano llega al espacio.

3. La estación internacional, la ISS, se cae a pedazos... La Soiuz acoplada tiene grandes impactos de meteoritos. Una no tripulada llegará el 20 de febrero para devolver a los astronautas a la Tierra (sólo a los rusos)...

Rusia ha decidido no llevar suministros y la ISS tiene que encender sus motores todos los días, para mantener la órbita y no caer, además de agua y comida.

SpaceX tiene una nave allí, pero sólo caben 4 personas de las 7 que la habitan en total. En caso de emergencia, si ocurre algo antes del 20 de febrero, tampoco podrán volver en la nave de SpaceX, los trajes de los astronautas están hechos a medida para cada uno, por lo que los rusos no podrían volver en ella (no podrían sentarse para la reentrada).
