People sometimes focus only on technical comparisons or politics, but they completely miss the emotional side of creation. The feeling of terraforming a landscape at 2 AM because inspiration struck. DreamGrid gives people the ability to create without needing a giant corporate budget, a massive development team, or expensive infrastructure. Just imagination, passion, and the willingness to learn. That is powerful.

And honestly? In a world where so many platforms try to control creativity, there is something refreshing about having your own grid where your imagination is the limit.

Ozone System Standards— A Clarification Nobody Asked For But Everyone Needed

Dismayland used to enforce a SYSTEM AVATAR requirement. We lifted it. Adult avatars which meet the SYSTEM requirement pass without any problem. Now that the height complaints are coming in, Dirty Helga wants me to reinstate the System Avatar rule.

Ozone enforces SYSTEM STANDARDS. Not YOUR standards. The ones baked in by the OpenSim developers themselves. If the developers wanted child-proportioned avatars in-world, the sliders would allow them. They don't. That was a development choice. We honor it.

Dismayland has NO real-world standards and is not auditioning for any. We run the software the way its creators intended. If your poorly rigged attachment stack is triggering the scanner, you will be processed accordingly.

I am not maintaining a whitelist of ripped mesh from twenty different grids of dubious origin so that waist-height avatars can squeak through. Every grid worth visiting provides starter avatars. Atrius Station has them.

Dismayland is well worth the the extra effort some will need to make to enjoy the experience.

Anyone running xengine. I have a welcome center I paid for awhile ago it was built on xengine and I can't get it to rezz on yengine. since dreamgrid did away with xengine :-( I tried to get a older vs of dg with xengine and it won't load :-( anyways was hoping someone either has xengine still running or can offer help in helping me figure out my welcome rezzer. I just want to rezz it and save the oar.

Outworldz Issue? Just downloaded version 7.2101. The system is not automatically downloading either the tools or regions but is stuck on the very first prompt: "Check Files." Is anyone else having the same problem?

MazebzOS_AVX2-8-0-0-261331626 is available at https://maze.bz/mazebzviewer.zip...I finally fixed the STUPID out of control camera that when I am driving MY FAVORITE CARS...was zooming away from the car when moving in 5th and 6th gear making it hard to drive. This has bugged me for YEARS. Oldsters resigned themselves to that is just the way it is....or to quote "I stopped bothering to script for the camera because it did no good"...I found it was just a bug in the FOV section of the camera modules. If anyone cares about fixing that in firestorm, help me put together a pull request! Full KDU and fmod. Any bugs let me know do enjoy life!

The residents of GroovyVerse have created a huge collection of ReadyPlayerMe avatars. I converted them for use in OpenSim, and the vendor distributes a folder with a complete avatar, shape, alpha and all the associated textures.

Anyone is welcome to use or take a copy of the full-perm vendor. These would make nice starter avatars for a small grid. :)

update:
the next experiment has landed- a flock of flamingo's.
Im still working on the HUD it needs, but, u be able to set how many u want rezzed, instead of doing that yourself!
I hope to add the set to zzhop in a day or 2:)
