I guess I'm going a little crazy with Meshy AI and Blender, but I just can't seem to help myself. As part of the book I'm writing, one of the species included are Angelic like flying Lions that I call Lamassu. So I put the information in Meshy and it gave me a really cool winged lion which I was able to convert to a collada file in Blender and upload as a mesh build and it included the textures. How cool is that? Anyway you can find him at the Garden Center here at the mall, free and full perm! Blessings and much love, Lavia

I want to thank everyone who participated in our little poll yesterday regarding adoption of PBR viewers. The tally as of today: 45% of the 29 respondents said they love it, 28% said they had tried it but had reverted back, and 14% said they had no interest in using one.

As I have shown before, the pic above shows the difference between PBR and full Blinn-Phong materials. Both are the best I was able to accomplish with each graphics engine. Both are part of all my builds now, so users can decide how they want to see them.

As many of you know, I've always been an early adopter and proponent of new viewer features, such as materials and eep, and used them in everything, regardless of how widely adopted the tech was among the user base. And as with pbr now, the primary early adopters are usually artists, designers, and creators, because we are are supported by a great group of patrons who enable us to keep doing what we love and push the limits of creation on this platform. So, if a user doesn't want to upgrade, we understand and we accommodate, but if they do, they're in for a treat :-)

Approaching alpha. As that point draws closer, my work starts on promotional graphics and the visual design of the game. I came to Opensim from SL years ago to have the opportunity to work on a larger canvas and push the boundaries. Now I will have the largest canvas imaginable and I'm excited.

The developer and I met several years ago here on Opensim and collaborated on several fun projects, becoming fast friends. We developed the expanded concept for Starlite here, hoping to create and streamline a fork of OS code to fit our vision, but that was not possible. With the exception of the Vulkan renderer, everything else for Starlite was written from scratch.

I have a new garage for you, and I've fixed the other garages, so that you can collect them. I had them set to copy, and that doesn't always work, so I boxed them and set the boxes for sale. I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any issues. Find them near the big NEW sign.
