PBR is not all about metals and reflections. It literally improves all surfaces if you add the textures to your builds and use a PBR viewer to see them. Photos also show the difference between the old default midday sky and the new one in the PBR viewer.

The Majestic Ballroom exterior has been completely remodeled and the venue is now complete at Lunaria Emporium with full pbr textures (the build also has similar older fallback textures for those using non-pbr viewers).

Includes lighting controls and these extras: a full Art Deco Bar, ballroom dining set, a palm tree, a ground spotlight, a bird chandelier, two Art Deco framed prints, two Art Deco tall Lamps, three instruments and a microphone (all unscripted), and a lotus flower candle. These are for you to use any way you like and can be copied and modified, but nothing may be given away except the art prints and the instruments which come full perm.

If you're just exploring, be sure to pick up the art prints and instruments for free inside the ballroom. You can find the ballroom by clicking the Art Deco teleport sign inside the lobby on the left as you walk in. Important note: if you land on the top of the cinema complex when you first arrive at the Emporium, take a single step forward to activate the teleporter to the lobby.

So TDS will be changing the way that you grab items at the store! I have decided to make all items full perms, only because I see my items at other stores with no credit to myself at all. So if I make everything full perm then everyone can pass out the items to their friends. I will also be boxing items based on dates that are in my inventory. I have thousands of items not out because I am just myself at TDS. So the store will still be open whilst I work in the sky to get items boxed for you to grab once it is ready. I was going to put items in boxes based on what the item is, however, I would be trawling through my invy at a snail's pace. So if you have items already then you can just unpack and delete. Jupiter Rowland was wondering in an earlier post why The Virtual Museum had not heard about Opensim. This chart from 2022 from Metaversed Consulting is a reminder of just where Opensimulator places in the metaverse, and is very likely why the Virtual Museum hasn't heard of us. We're one of the tiny dots under Older Users. By 2024, Opensimulator didn't even register on this chart at all. Personally, I love Opensim and plan to be here as long as it's running, whether or not we are recognized by the rest of the virtual world.

Dear Everyone... After endless battles with windows 10. The bizarre server crashes, the triplicate items in my oars... I'm going to linux. Let me explain why, today my server decided the usb ports were no longer needed. So I have no mouse, no keyboard, they don't even work in bios. This system is on a very powerful UPS so I know lightning didn't get it, but on the other hand it was 5 years old. So in messing with it while the keyboard still worked, I tried to fix the mouse but wound up crashing my grid, and then the mother board died leaving me once again friendless with no grid. :( So I did what every opensimian does and ordered a new server. But I think this time I'm going with debian. Hopefully I can find someone that uses debian with opensim to give me some insider information to get it up and running when the new server comes in. But just so you know, I'm down due to mysterious server problems. I have created an account on wolf territories called CyberGlo CyberStar, you can friend me there and I will probably never lose your friendship. Sorry for the troubles. CC

What an incredible time we have had! Once again, we were able to celebrate an unbelievably beautiful carnival in the Pangea Grid together. It was a festival of colors, imagination, and pure joy. One of the undisputed highlights was our Rose Monday parade, where creativity and community spirit came together in a truly impressive way.

A huge thank you goes to all those who, with tireless dedication and boundless imagination, built the incredibly creative floats, airplanes, UFOs, and many other wonderful constructions. You transformed the Pangea Grid into a true carnival spectacle and brought joy to countless people!

We are especially delighted that so many external grids joined us again this year, making our carnival an even more diverse and exhilarating event. A heartfelt thank you to Soul Grid, Monroose Grid, Nabila Grid, CCI Bikerworld, SoA.Bad and SINAS.S, HG Safari, and Loru.Destiny from the Grid artdestiny! Your participation has once again enriched and brought life to this Rose Monday parade.

I would also like to extend a special thank you to Abraxas and Lilie Oller, Bink Draconia, Finja and Jason Flux, Tutz, Lampithaler and Reyno Parx, Lilly Topas, Kitty Sarrasine,, and all the many dedicated participants who made this carnival what it was: an unforgettable experience!

As we cherish the memories of this wonderful carnival in our hearts, we already look ahead: Next year, we will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Cologne Virtual Carnival! A very special jubilee that we will mark with even more brilliance, even more magic, and even more enthusiasm. The anticipation is already immense!

As many people know... I am the cat's meow. I have 2 cats, dash & applejack, which I adopted from a shelter. They were found in the sewer drain. Someone tried to drown them? I don't know. But any way. They are very happy now living in my house. But aside from this and their many funny antics, I am announcing my return to the virtual worlds. Since the recovery was awesome, (and why wouldn't it be? I did it.), I now have most of my builds replaced. It is with great joy and fierce resolution that I have decided to tear down the wizardry shop again. ( I tore it down once and let Safine sell the magic huds for me.) But it came back, when I recovered the oars. This time I will sink the land under water and decimate the trees and shrubbery, plus I will obliterate the vines and flowers. This should leave nothing, but water. I do plan to leave the wizards house, since it is so full of magic, the wizards shack, and of course the school of magical education and generalized debauchery. I am deeply saddened to hear of the heartfelt tragedy osgrid is going through losing all their inventory... I know many of you will miss the early prim built furniture if only for it's historical sentiment. Many lands people owned but died after renting a server for 50 years will be disappeared from osgrid. Many people who died will be removed from the databases. Are you one of them? Boo! So anyways, as you may have surmised from my initial scribery on the wall of html everything is copacetic. Karma says what goes around comes around, a good reason to strap a 24 pack of charmin around your hiney. Cheers!
