Jupiter Rowland was wondering in an earlier post why The Virtual Museum had not heard about Opensim. This chart from 2022 from Metaversed Consulting is a reminder of just where Opensimulator places in the metaverse, and is very likely why the Virtual Museum hasn't heard of us. We're one of the tiny dots under Older Users. By 2024, Opensimulator didn't even register on this chart at all. Personally, I love Opensim and plan to be here as long as it's running, whether or not we are recognized by the rest of the virtual world.

The New Tarot Deck by CyberGlo. This deck has a built in menu that randomly chooses the cards based on the computers clock crystal that vibrates at a specific frequency. If you click the beautiful leather case it will show the menu to deal the deck, and flip over individual cards. Each time it tells only you what the card means and how you should interpret it. The cards turn over one by one as you read them and tell your guest what the meaning is about. You can lay this on any table as there is no background so you can take this deck of cards anywhere. What an incredible time we have had! Once again, we were able to celebrate an unbelievably beautiful carnival in the Pangea Grid together. It was a festival of colors, imagination, and pure joy. One of the undisputed highlights was our Rose Monday parade, where creativity and community spirit came together in a truly impressive way.

A huge thank you goes to all those who, with tireless dedication and boundless imagination, built the incredibly creative floats, airplanes, UFOs, and many other wonderful constructions. You transformed the Pangea Grid into a true carnival spectacle and brought joy to countless people!

We are especially delighted that so many external grids joined us again this year, making our carnival an even more diverse and exhilarating event. A heartfelt thank you to Soul Grid, Monroose Grid, Nabila Grid, CCI Bikerworld, SoA.Bad and SINAS.S, HG Safari, and Loru.Destiny from the Grid artdestiny! Your participation has once again enriched and brought life to this Rose Monday parade.

I would also like to extend a special thank you to Abraxas and Lilie Oller, Bink Draconia, Finja and Jason Flux, Tutz, Lampithaler and Reyno Parx, Lilly Topas, Kitty Sarrasine,, and all the many dedicated participants who made this carnival what it was: an unforgettable experience!

As many people know... I am the cat's meow. I have 2 cats, dash & applejack, which I adopted from a shelter. They were found in the sewer drain. Someone tried to drown them? I don't know. But any way. They are very happy now living in my house. But aside from this and their many funny antics, I am announcing my return to the virtual worlds. Since the recovery was awesome, (and why wouldn't it be? I did it.), I now have most of my builds replaced. It is with great joy and fierce resolution that I have decided to tear down the wizardry shop again. ( I tore it down once and let Safine sell the magic huds for me.) But it came back, when I recovered the oars. This time I will sink the land under water and decimate the trees and shrubbery, plus I will obliterate the vines and flowers. This should leave nothing, but water. I do plan to leave the wizards house, since it is so full of magic, the wizards shack, and of course the school of magical education and generalized debauchery. I am deeply saddened to hear of the heartfelt tragedy osgrid is going through losing all their inventory... I know many of you will miss the early prim built furniture if only for it's historical sentiment. Many lands people owned but died after renting a server for 50 years will be disappeared from osgrid. Many people who died will be removed from the databases. Are you one of them? Boo! So anyways, as you may have surmised from my initial scribery on the wall of html everything is copacetic. Karma says what goes around comes around, a good reason to strap a 24 pack of charmin around your hiney. Cheers!

From here you get fast to Park Avenue/Central Park and old town red light district. Subway is still fake. Have to dig 4 km before a subway can run from Congress center over Park Avenue Plaza, Central station and Airport (perhaps expo center too) I should have done this first. Now it is more complicated with all the buildings.But ok.

The Opensim Worlds Fair is coming up for the month of March, and it's huge! In addition to my regular display, I was asked to create a PBR basics tutorial on their Tech area. Perhaps it is not known for most people here. I would like to introduce something new that is more known or even common for player in new games.
We all know the problem with mesh hair and that flexi hair is not perfect too. If we would have flexi mesh hair then complexity would increase to mio. Much too much. The hair problem is not solved in many games. Even in VRchat the hair problem is not perfectly solved but right now the best solution. For clothes especially coats etc it is the same problem.
But we can also have other solution for clothes. It is not flexi but we could have animesh clothes. It looks almost realistic. Roland Francis created some animesh clothes and here you can see it in video. You get it on his Neiferleaf sim in shop at landing point. Here in this video you can see. It was not meant for showing of animesh clothes, but doesn't matter. Good job Roland!

The 3.9 earthquake in New Hampshire this morning was my fault. i was manifesting. :D I started working on Hobomock the giant last night. He is a deity in Algonquin legend that causes earthquakes and changes the course of rivers. I must have woken him up. :)

It is already 9 months old, but here on this Website never promoted in this way. You get couple walk for opensim created by Sergio Rodriguez. As single script to walk with your real avi partner (AI Bot) or you can even use it with an NPC Companion. You can even walk stairs with couple walk.

Valerie NatureInSim has built Couple Walk in her NPC Companion since her 3.0 Version and you can even build in a script to use AI to make your companion intelligent. Just put the script in the hud and it works automatically. There are many possibilities to create your own AI NPC with different LLMs. (Not to confuse with a Bot as own Avi Account.) You can have a Companion as NPC you can talk with and also can walk as couple at the same time. It is not working for hypergridding as if you would use an AI Bot with own Avi account, but for playing around on your grid it is enough.
If you want to make movies you have to make a lot of compromises, because for fluent changes you need the hud. If Firestorm would support Quicktime of apple it would be no problem and we could record from Firestorm itself like snapshots. So there is only solution to hide huds. The couple walk hud can be removed completely and it still works. If you use couple walk with your NPC Companion then you have to size it very small to have a big screen without hud.
