Approaching alpha. As that point draws closer, my work starts on promotional graphics and the visual design of the game. I came to Opensim from SL years ago to have the opportunity to work on a larger canvas and push the boundaries. Now I will have the largest canvas imaginable and I'm excited.

The developer and I met several years ago here on Opensim and collaborated on several fun projects, becoming fast friends. We developed the expanded concept for Starlite here, hoping to create and streamline a fork of OS code to fit our vision, but that was not possible. With the exception of the Vulkan renderer, everything else for Starlite was written from scratch.

I'm setting up a new shop called MODERN TORTURE on 1 Red Light Blvd in the famous Stark Red Light District. I just have two items now but will continue to add new items. One is a head bag that makes the wearer blind (can be used in #RLV folder for added fun) The other is a metal pin chair that is very uncomfortable to sit on.

Working on this new shop is very fun. Guys keep coming by cat calling me through the window (i fake AFK) This one dude is out there right now talking on his phone probably lying to his woman telling her he's stuck at the office working late, so i'm playing possum. Definitely need to get some curtains put up in here.

I've just finished replacing all the scripts, and I'm so thrilled to say we're officially reopening the area! Our next release to the Homelandz Public Library is a classic rather short novel that is a gripping and touching tale of 2 unlikely traveling companions, looking for work, and a piece of the American Dream. I highly recommend the modern movie remake of the black and white classic as well. The newer one features Gary Sinise as George, and John Malkovich as Lenny.

Of Mice and Men is a 1937 novella written by American author John Steinbeck. It describes the experiences of George Milton and Lennie Small, two displaced migrant ranch workers, as they move from place to place in California, searching for jobs during the Great Depression.

Steinbeck based the novella on his own experiences as a teenager working alongside migrant farm workers in the 1910s, before the arrival of the Okies whom he would describe in his novel The Grapes of Wrath. After a maintenance, asset wipe and re-setting up the Grid yesterday, the loading time have improved a lot on our Grid!

The new Skin collection for LaraX is back, we also updated the Greta Head Skin for EvoX (marked with an update sign) and we added small hints on the ground so you can see if your Evo skin fits with the Bodyskin.

All Head skins are done as fatpacks than taking single colors.

Wales is the smallest nation in mainland UK, but it is home, it’s said, to some of the largest, and best-known festivals in the world. The annual Welsh Fish Dancing Festival is not one of them. I was asked to post about it, by some prankster it seems.

Did they mean the Folk (not Fish) Dancing Festival, because there is one. I can post about the World Bog Snorkelling Championships or the National Welsh Rarebit Day, because these events actually happen. There is the The Cardigan River and Food Festival in Wales, which features seafood, but not fish dancing. After an extensive search, I find no mention of a Welsh Fish Dancing Festival on the web.

I did discover a site about the Wels fish (pictured above). I think there is a very good reason there is no annual Wels fish dancing festival. I did find a fish dancing video, but I can’t tell if the dancer is Welsh, Have a look and tell me what you think.
