By request I'm doing the large Japanese home next, but this time I'm going to make it in situ, where it will be displayed once finished. It will take about a month and those interested in my building process can visit and see the progress as I go along. I sketched out the plans yesterday then did my space planning on site today. Pictured is how that looks. You can see it at the Emporium. In the lobby click the Japanese teleport sign and you'll see the build area in the far back.

I stumbled across something cool today. I have been working on a huge cluster of 6x6 regions, with all mis-matched, imported terrains. So there was a LOT of terraforming and blending, which can take a long time with the land tool. I discovered a debug setting "LandBrushSize" It normally maxes out at 11, but you can set it to cover a HUGE area and very quickly flatten out sim edges and smooth them, build mountains quickly, etc. You can get to the Debug settings with control-alt-shift-S and type "LandBrushSize" in the search box. It set mine to 30 or 40 to do large areas.

I put out the avatar clone machine, that we had discussed earlier. It is a concentual "donate your body to the dance machine" script. A person who wishes to donate types "clone-me" in chat. It generates a preview, and the person types "confirm" in chat again to finish donating their appearance. It's at our club on the welcome region. Follow the paw prints. :) There is a vendor box next to it, that will give you a copy of the board for your own use.

The old sofa looks very beautiful when I used PBR material brown leather on it, also I changed the material of the wood and gave the cushions an elegant look with the help of silver fabric material. Each year, we do a multi language conference to celebrate all that's good, challenging, and fun about Opensim. This year it will be April 5 and 6... more about that in coming weeks! Along with the speakers and art events in several languages, most of you probably know there's also a big Expo park that opens before the event so you can explore and learn about your fellow opensimmers. Everyone can make a booth for this expo - the deadline of Jan 31 but let Thirza know if you're running late, we'll save you a space!
Many of you (like Bloom Peters, her booth show in in the photo) have already modded the basic Expo Booth, and passed it to Thirza on OSGrid for placement in the park, but if you haven't done so yet, don't delay!
