Today I've released my last addition to the Fairies and Sprites of the Glen.

The Sprites of the Glen with Magic are now out in the enchanted section of the shop.
These like the other 2 versions come in 5 colours and this time they have a little extra trail of light that flashes around them (it's magic ;)).
I don't believe these are any more mischievous than the others however they insisted they were, it's probably just because their feelings were hurt because they were last to go out, I'm sure they'll get over it.

They are animesh and directions on set up are on the enclosed notecard.

Scripts are thanks to Arcadia Shop. Directions on activation are included in the box

The fairies float and fly around fluttering their wings. The animations are in a different order for each fairy in order to avoid synching if you put out more than one.

They add a little action wherever they are.

Liebe Freunde and Starkies,

was wir heute ankündigen werden, fällt uns nicht leicht. Niki und ich, Mathilda, haben beschlossen, den Betrieb von Stark Islands nach dem 30. Juni 2021 einzustellen.
Wir haben uns viele Gedanken darüber gemacht, unter welchen Voraussetzungen wir Stark hätten weiterlaufen lassen könnten. Aber letztendlich hätte es zu viele Änderungen geben müssen und Stark wäre nicht mehr das gleiche gewesen. Außerdem haben wir uns außerhalb von OpenSim eine neue Aufgabe gestellt. Einerseits bedauern wir, Stark zu schließen, nach all der harten Arbeit, die wir in dieses Paradies investiert haben. Aber wir sind auch sehr stolz darauf, dass wir es bis nach ganz weit oben auf der Liste der beliebtesten Regionen von OSW geschafft zu haben. Das wäre ohne euch, unsere wunderbare Gemeinschaft, nicht möglich gewesen.
Deshalb möchten Niki und ich uns an dieser Stelle bedanken. Danke an alle Starkies für eure Unterstützung und Treue. Danke an unsere DJ’s! Jeder einzelne von Euch hat mit seinen mittlerweile legendären Sets zum Erfolg von Stark beigetragen. Danke an das Zeta Worlds Team, ohne dessen Unterstützung der stabile Betrieb einer solch leistungshungrigen Region wie Stark nicht möglich gewesen wäre. Danke auch an alle Besucher, die jederzeit herzlich willkommen waren und viele nette Kommentare und Likes hinterlassen haben. Wir wünschen euch allen von ganzem Herzen alles, alles Gute!
Für OpenSim wünsche ich mir, dass die Leute, die Grids, viel stärker zusammenarbeiten und nicht gegeneinander. Ihr seid ein Grid! Das Hypergrid! Nur gemeinsam hat OpenSim eine Chance.
Wir werden euch im Auge behalten und vielleicht, irgendwann, sehen wir uns wieder.

Why there are people they give their avatars names like "Nazi German" and "Adolf Hitler"?
Why they visit a sim like Stark and say they hate gays and threaden people to find them in real and kill them?
Why are people so full of hate?
Why can't they stay away from Stark and let live people their (virtual) life in the way they want?
Lots of questions that I don't have an answer to!

But one thing is absolutely clear for me:

WE DON'T WANT GUYS LIKE YOU HERE AT STARK!

So please stay away and spread your hate somewhere else. Or better: Don't spread it anywhere!

And stop crying in the Stark OSW review section because we banned you several times. We would do it anytime again!

GOODBYE MY FRIEND MALDRUL SMITH
The following is a clip from the Facebook Announcement concerning the IRL passing of our dear friend Maldrul Smith who DJ'd every event we had on our grid with very few exceptions. He was greatly loved by all of us and will be just as greatly missed. So many of us are stunned by this news but we pray for his family and friends that they may find comfort and peace. Maldrul was a dear, sweet soul who always found a way to cheer people up and was loyal to his friends. I just cannot say enough good about him.

Our wonderful friend and amazing DJ-Maldrul Smith has passed away IRL. With heavy hearts, we are sharing that George passed away on June 25, 2026, at 2:05 p.m. CST.
George was a loving father, devoted husband, proud Air Force veteran, and a strong provider and protector for his family. He had a deep love for technology and computer science, and he shared that knowledge and curiosity with his daughters throughout their lives.
While our family is grieving this heartbreaking loss, we find comfort in knowing that George is now reunited with his beloved wife, Charlotte. They were married for 51 years and are now together in eternity.
Thank you to everyone who loved George, shared memories with him, and supported our family. Your prayers, kindness, and words of comfort mean so much during this difficult time. @FerdFrederix gave me a personal tour of Cinderella's Anniversary Castle, a beautiful creation he built together with Debbie Edwards. As we walked through the castle, Ferd shared the story behind its design, pointing out the incredible details and the many treasures Debbie discovered and contributed along the way. You could hear the pride, joy, and love they both poured into this project.

Then came the surprise.

Ferd placed the entire castle on my grid and told me to enjoy it as much as they do. I was completely overwhelmed by such a generous gift. Over the years, I've often thought of Ferd as a father figure, and receiving this on Father's Day made the occasion especially meaningful. Of course, true to Ferd's nature, he was the one giving the gift.

The castle is now open for everyone to visit and enjoy.

If you've ever wondered what makes Debbie Edwards and Ferd Frederix so special within our community, look no further than this castle. Their creativity, generosity, kindness, and willingness to share what they build with others continue to enrich countless virtual worlds and the people who inhabit them.

Thank you, Ferd. Thank you, Debbie. Your gift will be treasured, and I am honored to share it with the public so others can experience the magic you created.

My journey started in OpenSim, creating virtual jewelry people could wear in-world before ever buying it in real life. That experiment turned into something bigger: a virtual jewelry store that’s open 24/7, showcasing years of designs, iterations, failures, breakthroughs, and finished pieces. It’s a living archive of creative growth.

Here’s the truth:
There is nothing quite like seeing an idea move from your mind, to a sketch, to a finished object you can hold—or wear. That spark when it finally clicks? That’s the reward.

So for 2026, my message to the community is simple:

Learn something new

Wolf Territories had an amazing memorial for Luna Lunaria on Sunday. DJ Spirit was the last performer of the day and honored Luna by playing her song requests through the years. They say that if you listen to a person's favorite songs, you get a little more insight into that person. It was a lovely tribute. Luna's Real World Son was there and asked if some of it could be filmed.

Just added a new ornament display with full PBR textures at the front entrance of the Emporium. Free and full perm.

All Holiday decor at Lunaria Emporium is now free and full perm for the season. All have been reworked and many have PBR textures added. I have trees, tree skirts, topiaries, wreaths, garlands, a snow couple, poinsettias, etc; some are prim and some are mesh. These are unique items available nowhere else in Opensim.
