More Than Just A Band
A friend of the band that became the Talking Heads found a glossary of terms used by television cameramen. One of these was ‘talking head’, for a shot of the head and shoulders of a television commentator. These are the people on news shows that the anchor brings in to discuss a specific subject on which they are considered experts. It is said to be the most boring but also the most informative format in TV. (Kind of like this post. Boring but informative!) Well, I have a confession to make. I've always wanted to be a talking head on TV...and now I am! Happy Halloween!

This is my little contribution to the Arts & Literature in OpenSim, To keep the works of masters alive and available, and to provide free readable poetry to anyone in OpenSim who wants to curl up by the fire with a few good poems.

Tarot V3. This is a new version that I just made on 3/16/2024. It now can do reversed cards, and ill dignified cards. Now it automatically chooses whether the card is up right or reversed, and shows the appropriate meaning. I took the seed from the random number generator built into the computer, which is run by a crystal on the mother board of your computer. This crystal vibrates at a frequency and produces the number out of the vibrations. Amazing! Anyway, This new tarot table can show normal and reversed cards as a result, making the entire process much easier to read, and it now more closely follows the laws of chance just like shuffling a real life deck of tarot cards. Whether a card is ill dignified or well dignified is determined by looking to the cards to the left and right of the card. If one is reversed and one is normal they cancel each other out so the card stands as is. If both are normal it is positive reinforcement and strengthens the card in the middle. If both are negative then they weaken the center card substantially. So now it works like real tarot and the real celtic cross! Come get yours at cyberdatastorm.com:8002:Wizardry.

A tall ship battle , ships with crews ! It's great fun. This is last ship standing ( mine :) ) burning! No cargo to steal, all was burned ! With many thanks to the Catronian Archipelago group members to make this event exciting.

When you come to Welcome at cyberdatastorm, if you use the environment settings, the air has a very smoky quality without the lag of 'smoke' particles. This effect is created through the environment loading in the menus. My welcome is very simple, so that people can load quickly without a lot of things to weigh them down. I believe it is always good to have a simple and easy to load welcome area on your grid. Everything is done in simple black & white. From my opensim beacon, to my visitor list, to region teleport sign.

We announce that we made a connection with the Vibel grid , " Neiferleaf " owned by Roland Francis.
Catronian Archipelago's members visited his sims and were very enthusiastic about theme and landscaping and we decided to connect the lands with teleporters on each others landing points. The purpose of this connection is to share traffic and make people with similar interests on different grids aware about the posibilities of role-play, and we also want to organise events that will take place on both grids. More information about this later.
You can easely find the gate to Neiferleaf on Catronian Archipelago 's landing point , a gazebo that will teleport you over or try
