3. Borg-Repository einrichten
• verschlüsselt
• stabil
• bereit für automatische Rotation

4. Verbindung vom Grid-Server testen
• SSH-Key
• erster Test-Backup
• Wiederherstellung probeweise prüfen

Erst, wenn alles sauber funktioniert,
kommt der letzte Schritt:

5. Vollautomatik nachts per Cron
→ komplett selbstständig
→ kein Eingreifen nötig
→ ruhige, sichere Backups für Dorenas World.


As soon as it's available, here's what I'll do:

1. Check the basic installation

Please note that parcel protection systems may not function reliably above approximately 100 meters.

Rights for Tenants of Parcels

Apartments and Skyboxes have no rezz rights. Sad, but true, there were renters installing harming scripts. Private parcels allow up to 444 prims per rental area and are reserved for friends.

The tenant can deed the parcel to a group and share with friends and family. You can close your own parcel and only let people on access list in. You can use your own radio stations. You can make yourself invisible from outside. Being an owner has many advantages. Also you are allowed to build skyboxes over 800 meters, but stay within your general prim limit of 444 Prims.

Just a heads up that the E Grid will be Offline Weds, Thurs and Fri of this week - (the 18th, 19th, and 20th) for some server upgrades.

We've just completed a full backup and that took 3 days, but didn't need to go offline.

This time it will be easier, if the Grid is down.

Should be back up by Sat Morning!
