i have replaced my OSW beacon 3x now... i have changed my beacon key and updated it, however it still has the landing at 128,128,0 when it is supposed be at 23, 458, 24. anyone know how to fix this?

OSW beacon: OpenSimWorld Package 1.202111 from OSW inWorld
- got Mar 2, 2026
- followed the instructions from the NC inside it
- placed beacon it needs to be.
- added the key.
- Currently waiting OSW.com to update it.

Any ideas?

So this one again is special.
The terrain update is finally cleaned up, it just appears in the bulldozer tab. It properly lets one define the bottom left of the yellow selector then set its length and width, hit return it updates. It is so good. Perfect squares, perfect parcels of 256 or whatever. Move it so that the next one is perfect. Make perfect square borders of 1 meter around it all. Thanks again to Rio Fenix for the idea!See the pic.

I rescind all my statements about Vlad and his vampire HUD. I have seen it and its functions; it works and functions as he explained, and it is a fully functional, existing HUD.

My comments were heavily based on my own opinion from seeing many copycat bloodlines systems, and as a former Bloodlines user, I know that many of these creators put their heart and soul into their games.

Although I still think it’s a bad idea to beg for money on a grid where most things are essentially ripped, I can say with certainty that it functions, and yes, I am aware it is an actual vampire game HUD.

My only suggestion: don’t monetize it too heavily or put it behind a paywall.Many people do this, and it often doesn’t end well for them. Their once-popular project ends up fading out, like a lot of games do. This isn’t Second Life, where you have to hustle to make a Linden here and there. It’s more of a shared experience.

But again… that’s just my opinion.

From 2026-02-19 to now: added capped mesh upload fee retries and user-facing logging for missing uploader URLs; refreshed CA handling to download/pin curl’s bundle at build/runtime; kept KDU off and use openjpeg due to licensing/package gaps. Certs for firestorm seem to be locked into 2024!

I also made it retain home in the viewer rather than need the url from the simulator. Hoping to fix the issue where we can't get home.
