Stag Hollow is still under construction and it is a cooperative effort among various grid members. It took a little searching and a lot of editing but here we have a whole herd of buffalo grazing in the valley between the town and the Indian camp. All are welcome to visit and if you'd like to have a home on this region we can discuss particulars. There is a hot air balloon to ride or you can find a horse rezzer in the stables of the blacksmith shop. Tour the hotels and restaurants and enjoy the many homes and businesses in this small town of Stag Hollow. There really is a lot to see here and I believe you'll enjoy it. One night, I dreamt I stood at the river's edge in a canyon gorge. Terraced along the cliffs were abundant cherry trees, their branches cascading down towards the water. So many beautiful places and nice, drama-free things going on in Opensim.

Well, as they say, better late than never. We've done about two months of testing and ironed out a lot of bugs (I say a "lot" because it has been horrendous at times). I think we are now in a positions to go "live" and relax a bit.

We have renamed Opengrid to Castlehenge and downsized from 5x5 to 4x4 in an effort to make both regions the same size. As a result, I had to delete a lot of stuff from the outer edges. All the Athena and Decadence stuff has now gone as there is so much of it all over Opensim it was redundant. That has left us with a lot fewer freebies but we have retained Ruth and Roth, Selea Core, Paramount as well as the Clutterfly Warehouse and other open source stuff. Oh, and Synclair Designs is still there, too - authorised mesh women's clothing imports from SL textured in Opensim.

On the technical side; We are still having a few native problems with inventory - missing body parts and EOC errors but they do not seem to affect day to day running of the sims. I've tested hypergrid from another grid and there seems to be a glitch with bakes on mesh. The avatar looks fine to the user, but others see their body as white (no textures). It does not affect clothing, whether mesh or not. A workaround is for the visitor to toggle "Appearance Mode". Then the appearance is normal. This only needs doing once, I'm assuming so that the sim gets texture updates from your home server. Avatars already on the sim look fine to the visitor. We are running Opensimulator version 0.9.2.10 Yetti Release Unix/Linux/Mono Server.

OK, well that's it for now, I'm going to lie down in a darkened room for a while LOL.

Ask and ye shall receive. The church I made was loved but, far too big for my friend's needs, so when I suggested something smaller, it was agreed I'd make a chapel and this is it. A really beautiful little stone chapel that has a wonderful warmth to it and it comes fully decorated and furnished. The most recent addition to Stag Hollow, the Saw Mill. This is the interior of a mid 19th century water powered saw mill with a large circular blade. We are trying to keep things in this region as close to the era and history as possible to give it a more authentic feeling.

If anybody got this from our mall, please know that I did find an error in the build in that I'd missed removing some prim parts either because I didn't see them or they managed to "ghost" their way back in as sometimes happens, and were accidentally linked to the build. Either way, I removed the invading prims so that the mesh part is what remains reducing the land impact by almost 200. So if you got this house, I have the revised, corrected version available at the mall or just contact me and I'll send it to you. Blessings and much love, Lavia

Finally completed, though there may be upgraded versions in the future. The Chateau de Marqueur Royal Manor, a creation of my imagination is massive and as over 1500Li, but in open sim I'm told that's a drop in the bucket. Anyway, it has two large royal living chambers that you can decorate as you like, 12 guest or employee rooms each with their own fireplace, and there is ample space for kitchen, dining, library, and a social/ballroom. It has two massive dual sided marble fireplaces that are a little fancy, beautifully carpeted stairs and unique banisters. It also has a huge inground pool shrouded from prying eyes by lightweight curtains. I think you'll find this build enjoyable and fun and it's waiting for you in the Star Jinn Palisade Mall on the Masala Al Kohav region. It's free, and it's full perm.
