It's not too late to participate in OSFest 2024 where free land is available for exhibits and stores. The festival runs from Oct 4-20, 2024 but we have a load test party on Sept 20, 2024 from 10am to 1 pm. Staff will be on hand as Rogue and Thalion rock the house. Join us!

I've added two more items to my freebie Farm Store :D
Actually, they are the same thing, but one of them is completely empty so that you may add the products you would like to have in them to use for yourself :D
(JUST DON'T FORGET TO MAKE A COPY OF THE EMPTY ONE BEFORE YOU USE IT! :D ) But there will still be the empty barrel in your inventory because it's copyable1 :D BUT STILL! :D It's always good practice to make a copy of your items that you will be working on :D
OK these barrels I have made up are the same barrels, but they have some ingredients that you will use in them. I believe I put the main ingredients in them that you use most of the time.
For those of you who know how to add ingredients in them you may do so.
For those of you who do NOT know how to add your own selection of ingredients in the barrels I will be adding a notecard on how to do that at a later time. :D

Then you will scroll down, and you will see boxes with names on them.
(The barrels that I have are all set up to receive product. So, you don't need to add anything more but the product itself. No scripts, no notecards, just the product itself.)
Take one or more of those products and bring it inworld.
Then, take that product and put it into your inventory.
After taking it into your inventory, you go into edit on the empty barrel and add in there what you would like.
If you have a product that you made, you can do the same thing with that.
Then all you do is go and reset the scripts, & WAH LAH! There is your own personal homemade barrel of whatever you like! :D
Take a copy of that barrel you just filled and add it to your inventory for safe keeping :D

Teaching myself pbr materials. Very different process to get those materials into OS. This is the clearest comparison yet of the difference between legacy materials and pbr materials. The one on the left was the best I was able to do with regular materials using only the original diffuse, normal, and specular textures. The one on the right uses all the original textures and shows them correctly.

I am working on this region for some weeks now and it is evolving... Terraforming, building bridges, stairs, hills... there will be boats and horses... working on a helicopter... on the land are houses with furniture themed for different preferences....

Some good news. I compiled Firestorm 7.1.10 PBR, and it doesn't crash every single time I teleport. There is light at the end of the tunnel with the next release. Photo included of me not f***ing crashing. yay! :D

21st September is WORLD PEACE DAY!
Whilst it may seem slightly frivolous, ZetaWorlds is having an event/party, We can't end the wars, the assault on Ukraine by Putin's Russia, the conflict in Gaza made worse by Israel's tamper tantrum, the military junta terrorizing Myanmar, but we can raise awareness and we can make a difference!
Anyone that buys a region that day, any package really, all proceeds will be given to Angel of Life aid for Ukraine! Let's raise some money!

The day starts of with a Q&A session again with Edison and Vincent answering burning issues, questions, and talking us through planned upgrades etc. Please direct your questions and anything you might want to discuss here: https://zetaworlds.com/forms/questionnaire
So the timetable for the day:
8am: Q&A Session
10am: Quirkessential DJane HAZEL ITO plays one of her unique mixes
11am: Sees the return of live singer ROGUE GALAXY to center stage
12 noon: High noon, for our live DJ MATTIE
1pm: It's the normally naked DJ RUUD, but this time at least partly clothed, don't miss this!
2pm: Our lovely ELLEMIR takes over the decks before handing over at
3pm: to the next live DJ NORA COLA
So please come and join us, donate to great charities one way on another, and make it a night to show support for the wronged and a world living in peace and harmony!
If that somehow offends you: Attacking fellow humans is abhorrent whether it be punching your neighbor or invading a whole country for no reason.
