There are those who associate nudity with the threat of child abuse and exploitation. However, moral panic leads to claims that "exaggerate the seriousness, extent, typicality and/or inevitability of harm" For example, if nudity always invites or incites sexual behavior, all-age clothing-optional beaches and resorts in RL would be closed.
Some people object to even clothed child AVs. Is this also a result of moral panic? Maybe. But it could be a mental health issue. An emotional state of fear, disdain, aversion, or prejudice toward children or youth is known as paedophobia. It is a condition diagnosed and treated by psychiatrists. There is hope, people. There is hope.
But, for now, these folks should stay away from SL. Some lurid facts about that place. If someone is at least 13 years of age in RL, they can use Second Life with some restrictions. You could not only encounter teen AVs in SL, you might even meet some RL teens. SL does have a policy about age-play, but says, "Merely having a childlike avatar does not violate this policy. It is not our intent to banish childlike avatars in and of themselves". Isn't it ironic? On this issue, SL is more open than some are on Open Sim.
In the past, simply stating these facts about SL has resulted in my being stalked in OS and threatened by, I think the clinical term is, cuckoo-bananas wack-a-doodle cray-crays. The truth is that my regions in OS are for adult AVs only. I have nothing against child AVs, as such. I just prefer to avoid dealing with unbalanced moral crusaders.

The Stark North District is more than just an extension to Stark Islands. It's a full new region with the main sim North District plus 2 nice residential sims Archipelago and Causeway and an impressive nature sim called Straits. The main sim North District holds a bunch of shops. There are also some possibilities for nice roleplays.
The North District region is connected directly to Stark Islands, means you can even walk from the Stark Islands main sim to North District by crossing the whole region. Well, if you dont have the time or you are too lazy, you can go by boat or teleporter.

New Release: Arcadia's Lace Collar-
I'm releasing a new collar for you, this is beyond a new mesh though, it's a complete revamp of every script, animation and configuration card to the point that we decided to abandon the old versioning convention and now it’s version is 2022.12.04.
This massive project was a collaboration with Okie Meow (https://opensimworld.com/user/Tentacles), without him this couldn't have been possible.
Features:
- New storage system to keep data of Owners, Trusted and Blocked people, this will work in any sim that has scripts enabled, no special permissions needed. It cleverly encodes the UUIDs into textures.
- New couples pose system, now you can modify the height of the collar wearer directly from the menu.
- New default poses for all the poses on the collar, they feature a small intro animation.
- Revamped scripts on each one of the scripts fixing bugs in RLV, menus, the leash, etc.
- New leash and particle default textures.
- New leash holder.
There are more features, too many to list here we worked very hard to give you the best collar possible, additionally I revamped the existing collars to this new version.
These changes made it backwards incompatible, so you will need to get a fresh copy of this new collar or your existing favourite Arcadia’s collar.

Suzan Von Otto of Klamotto(https://opensimworld.com/hop/78282) messaged me last night to inform me she rigged my hair and made it two material faces, to be distributed freely with the nonrigged version. I will do this- but want to make a good hair hud for it first. Thinking of adding compatibility also with the "Decadence Hair Huds" I see floating around so people have even more choices.
2. I am making the main shops inside more cozy and finished looking. The idea is the newest or most popular things will stay right at the front outside but everything else goes inside eventually. Avatar stuff and hairs will go in "avatar magic" which is shaping into an "alternative sci/fantasy" beauty shop.
3. Just a few months away from new open source bodies and I finally fixed some errors I had with the Ruth2 V3 devkits...I have also legal copies of old maitreya devkit, among others from when I did things in SL. I have a few things I never put on the big grid and can, even for Athena users, because legal stuff for nonlegal bodies can be a "Gateway drug" to more legal content. And the problem isn't just going to go away cold turkey. So I can put my huge supply of "I made this, rigged it, it looks nice, never wore it in SL" on opensim. We'll see how it goes.

Marche Noir is a new shop full of classic imports, dating back to the time when imports were new to OS. It's a carefully curated selection of items that are, surprisingly, relatively rare. This is stuff so old, it's new again.

Marche Noir Deux is an open air "yard sale." It's found behind the Marche Noir Une shop, and also in small pavilions and platforms scattered around the region. Also, the region is full of items that can be had by right-clicking on them and selecting "buy."
For me, part of sharing in OS is sharing traffic. So, the shop has a small but growing number of TP boards to the best shops in OS. I'm not going to try to duplicate items in shops with fresh imports, well presented. You are better off shopping there. In fact, we don't care so much about traffic here. We want to be known for the likes and comments we get. If you care to do that, it will be much appreciated.

A recent review commented that oh HELLO outfits include hair and accessories. Gosh. I guess I haven't mentioned that lately. So, just so you know, you get everything you see in pictures of oh HELLO outfits -- except me. Also, if any item is part of a fat pack, you get them all.
One of the hardest parts of making this outfit was deciding on the footwear. Ankle boots? Knee high boots? Thigh high boots? Well, now that decision is up to you. The outfit includes all of the Samantha boot set (which, by the way, can be hard to find).
Back to accessories. I have a relatively small number of them, and I could use more. Please, tell me the best places to shop. Thanks.

Part of the ZetaWorlds Events region will be opening on the 16th of July.
The Vault is going to host official events and will be available for any ZetaWorlds resident to host their own as well.
The opening will feature several DJs which will be a blast. Hours of good music and a unique light show await, so mark it on your calendar, 16th of July!

Preparations for HIE 2023 are well in hand! It's a chance for opensim residents whose first language is not English to tell their stories, share their experiences, demonstrate their art - all in their own languages. Regarding the drama and debate of issues that really do fill up the front page with piles of horseshit and sauerkraut, I am hoping the constipated, confused, uneducated and self-righteous can simply take it all to private messages.
It absolutely does not benefit the software, community or potential prospects that have considered making the switch from SlimeyLife Libtard Labs to Open Sim and it's abundant community. All this crap does is clutter the front page and leaves people discouraged, confused and disenchanted. We get enough of that crap from the militant uneducated media. Let's at least keep THIS place honest and pleasurable to visit. Got it? Great!
So I am hoping that in the future, a lesson can be learned from this ordeal. Until then, If I'm not back in 5 minutes, just wait longer.
