The exhibit will open on Sunday, September 29, starting at noon grid time, featuring the vibrant and gorgeous Rogue Galaxy, followed by the beautiful Forest Azure at 1 PM. We had a third performer scheduled, but they can’t make it. If anyone is interested in filling that slot, either as a singer or DJ, please reach out to me.

Also opening is a collaborative exhibit by visual artist Cherry Manga and audio artist Nico Kalani on the Special Projects region, connected to the gallery. You can walk over or take a raft to explore their work.

At Le Beau Retrouvé, one of our goals is to bring the community together to appreciate and create art in Open Sim. We believe in supporting all artists, whether you're well-established or just starting out. Your work will always be handled with respect and displayed to its best advantage.

We encourage everyone to participate in this exhibit and future ones. I can’t wait to see what you’ve created! Thank you for being part of this journey.

I had this townhouse out at the mall and did not realize I had forgotten to put a sales box with it. Today I made that discovery and well, color me embarrassed. If anybody tried to get this beautiful townhouse and could not, you will now be able to get it free and full perm and I hope you will enjoy it and that it will enhance your region with another original build by me. Last night, I was consumed by a dark dream. I found myself in a dreamscape of a desert plateau, unsure how I arrived.

I was confronted by swirling fog and spirits, as well as a dark figure with a glowing orb. Initially, I was filled with trepidation and the beginnings of true fear; but in the back of my extradimensional consciousness, I sensed that the figure offered not fear. Instead, it was an invitation to a dark and fantastic journey, should I have the courage to embark on it.

I gazed about me and saw a pale horse with a rider. I saw three other horseman, poised above me. Were these the four horsemen I read about in other spiritual guides, harbingers of a coming Apocalypse?

My deeper instincts told me "no" - these horsemen were pleasure, pain, ecstasy. The pale horse was la petit mort, a small death to be sure, but one from which I would resurrect.

This is not the Apocalypse we know of, but one of social norms and constructs and other inhibitions.

Shall I resist this journey?

2days after, 13 august, unfortunately the Opensim gallery that I started on Flickr was deleted by Flickr for investigation on a complaint from a person.
What I can say is that I am asking Flickr for an investigation, that it will take several days, but that it will not stop me in my project, so we will continue to take photos and fill this gallery or another one. NOTHING and no one will stop me from doing it.
In the absolute case I will open my personal blog, there is no shortage of solutions. Thank you for supporting me and for showing up so that we can meet for the project. Best regards, thank you for your participation and photos are still being prepared following the last meetings.

Luna has been singing and performing her entire life starting at the age of 5 in Real Life.

She is fiery like a phoenix and ready to heat up any stage that she stands on. Fear not the fire and flames.

Roz Carr, born Rosamond Halsey Carr, was an American humanitarian and author who became widely known for her work in Rwanda. Born in 1912, she spent much of her early life as a fashion illustrator and model in New York before marrying British explorer Kenneth Carr.

In 1949, Roz Carr moved to Rwanda with her husband, where they managed a pyrethrum (a type of chrysanthemum used in insecticide) plantation. After her marriage ended, she remained in Rwanda, which became her home for the rest of her life. During the Rwandan Genocide in 1994, she witnessed the horrors of the conflict firsthand. Following the genocide, Roz Carr dedicated herself to helping orphaned children, founding the Imbabazi Orphanage on her plantation to provide care and education to children who had lost their families.

Carr authored a memoir titled Land of a Thousand Hills: My Life in Rwanda, which recounts her experiences in the country, from the time she arrived in the 1940s to the years following the genocide. Her work earned her recognition as a significant humanitarian figure, and she continued to live in Rwanda until her death in 2006 at the age of 94.

Roz Carr's legacy lives on through the orphanage and the lives of the 400 children she helped.

Unlike a traditional church, which serves as a gathering place for communal worship, a chapel is designed for personal reflection or small, intimate gatherings. Here, you can worship and reflect on your own terms—no need for a pastor or priest. This space is yours to experience in solitude or with a few close companions.

The chapel features a bell tower that chimes on the hour, adding a touch of timeless grace. You can also touch the bell to hear its resonant tone at any time. The benches offer a variety of animations, with two different poses in each of the four benches.

At the altar, you’ll find scripted animations to enhance your worship experience. The Eucharist plate and goblet are also scripted, allowing you to partake in communion with the Body of Christ (wafer) and the Blood of Christ (wine). Simply add either to immerse yourself in this sacred ritual.

To further enrich your experience, a leather-bound Bible, a Hymnal, and altar candles are included. All of these items are neatly boxed and placed beside the altar for your convenience.

The Chapel itself is available in a box located outside the entrance, and arrows on the street will guide you there. While visiting, take a moment to explore the other architectural wonders in the region—all handcrafted over the years and freely available to help you build your sim.
