Today has been a busy day at the mall as not only have we opened our new Magic Shop, but I got a little creative and made these Owl Lamps. I had gotten a lamp that was labeled "Owl Lamp" it turned out to be a Peregrine Falcon lamp, so I corrected the name on that one and made two, what I think are, really cute owl lamps with my favorite bird perched atop a tree and the moon providing the light. There are two versions, one with the owl facing front, and the other from the side and there are duplicate table versions as well. I have all four of them boxed up and waiting for you in the Living rooms Department in our Furniture section of the mall. Good Day, Friends!

I’m often asked, “What happens to the art when it’s taken down to make room for a new exhibition?” My response has always been that select works from each artist are preserved and moved to another gallery space, becoming part of a permanent exhibition that contributes to OpenSim’s evolving history. Up until now, that was only a vision—a future project in my mind.

I’m thrilled to announce that vision has finally come to life with The Archive Collection. While the name may be straightforward, it leaves no mystery about the treasures inside! 😊

I’ve included some photos—one of them shows me standing in front of the building, to give you a sense of its scale. To enhance your visit, I’ve also added a grand piano I uploaded and added a variety of scripted music that you can play by touching the keys while enjoying the art. There’s even a version of the piano with animation options available at my shop.

As we approach September, those of you with art ready for display are welcome to bring it by the gallery anytime. If you’re not already in the group, please let me know so I can add you to the correct role so you can rez.

I’m incredibly excited about this exhibition and, from what I’ve seen so far, it promises to be a feast for all our senses! Looking forward to seeing you soon!

The Grande Phoenix is a reimagined and refined update of an original Moroccan-style build I created for the town of Devil's Fork in the Land of Xzar. I was never fully satisfied with the original, so I recently undertook a complete remodel and am now excited to share it with anyone who’d like to make it their own.

Designed as a charming boutique hotel, the Grande Phoenix features a welcoming lobby with a side bathroom. The lounge is a cozy retreat with a warm fireplace, a stylish bar, and a dance floor for social gatherings. The custom-built kitchen, crafted with full perm capabilities, is ready for anyone who wishes to add their own animations.

Upstairs, you’ll find three beautifully appointed bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom. The building comes partially furnished, showcasing custom artwork I created, while leaving plenty of room for you to personalize and decorate to suit your style.

The Grande Phoenix is a versatile addition to any town or region, but of course, it’s yours to use however you wish. With full permissions, it’s designed for flexibility and creativity. I hope it brings you as much enjoyment as I’ve had in crafting it.

Hey everyone! Just a little information update on the GRPG Welcome Center - This location has been specifically developed for folks who are brand new to Open Sim and the Virtual Life and do not have a clue about how to get around and do things in the virtual world that we love, called Open Sim. We have tutorials on how to move and use your camera even information on how to slow down your flying so you don't smash your head on ceilings and trees. We have three large tutorial buildings and the first is how to move and view, the other two are made available after the new comers finish the first tutorial on how to move and view. Those two tutorial buildings are how to build your avatar one building for the ladies and one building for the gentlemen. There will be forth coming tutorials on how to drive a vehicle, ride a raptor (just for fun thank you Ares Halostar) and how to ride a horse. I will be creating and adding "How To" video tutorials on various subjects including how to update your region page on the OSW Directory, how to do your settings in Firestorm (sorry not doing one for Singularity because I don't have it) and all of the videos will be available at the touch of a button in our GRPG Information Center in the GRPG Welcome Center. You will also find a large Teleport Board there that will take you to those regions that we have open for public visitation. The magnificent DJ Illusions bids you to bring your mimosas and other mysterious imbibements and come enjoy the desert, camps, and his original music! Be transported to another dimension through truly interstellar musical adventure! You will have a true Tomorrowland experience with this talented and spectacular artist!

Your landing point will be in front of the Playa gate. For the full effect, set your environment on midnight, walk through the gate, and follow the arrows on the ground. You will walk through the camps, with the full view of the stage emerging. Massive and larger than life, plan on using your camera control to get a close view of the performers, should you desire.

These trees were made with AI textures I downloaded from the Internet for free. The textures are beautiful and I applied them to either flexi prims or a 1 prim plant sculpt. They would probably look best in a fantasy setting as they need full bright on for most lighting settings. If you only use the Default sky settings or similar lighting, they look fine with the bright unchecked. There are 22 different trees. Currently, they are located in front of the pyramids.
Rather than having a dedicated area for landscaping items, I have scattered trees, flowers, bushes, etc. all over the region in multiples as I have decided against using any other landscaping. So if you are walking about and see a tree or flower you like, simply click on it to buy for $0. Unless it has a box, everything in the region has the item inside of it so click and buy. :)

Another sleepless night produced this beautiful pyramid with a reflecting pool and Sphynx (which isn't my build but it worked perfectly). Inside there is a huge room and a kind of a mini palace compete with statues, floor lamp torches, pillars and thrones. It turned out better than I had hoped it would and I hope you will enjoy it and use it for your "ancient" or "Egyptian" build. It comes complete with trees and statues and is the perfect addition or center piece for any ancient or even sci fi fantasy build. You can find it here at the mall in our "Ancient Builds" department.
