Carpe Noctem Mall II is open but it will be under construction as i will be working on new things continuously.
The things at this mall are new textured or new uploaded. You will find things for holidays (Valentine, St. Patrick, Easter,
x-mas, halloween...) fashion for female and male. Decoration products, furniture, Wall hangings and more.
You also find an Artgallery at this place. If you need a break you can use the cafe or seddle down at the farm beside the
market.

Ok I have a question for the users who read these posts. This region is clothing for Athena rigged clothing and I was wondering how many of you would be interested in my also releasing the same designs for the Legacy body?? If there is enough intrest for the legacy outfits I will start getting the textures etc ready and do some legacy releases as well as the ongoing Athena releases.

Nautilus Cape Cod has reopened its Fish House Restaurant! Have a romantic Dinner or grab a lunch after sailing and exploring the Nautilus Ocean waters. The Restaurant is across from the Marina that has many free boats that work effortlessly on the Nautilus waters. The Restaurant has charming views of Cape Cod which has long term residents. There are free cottages to call home, the last one just became available and sits on its own private Island. ENJOY!

Lesson One:
A crow was sitting on a tree, doing nothing all day. A small rabbit
saw the crow & asked him, "Can I also sit like you & do nothing all day
long?" The crow answered: "Sure, why not." So, the rabbit sat on
the ground below the crow, and rested. All of a sudden, a fox appeared,
jumped on the rabbit and ate it.

Management Lesson?
To be sitting and doing nothing, you must be sitting very, very high
up.

Lesson Two:
A turkey was chatting with a bull. "I would love to be able to get to
the top of that tree," sighed the turkey, "but I haven't got the
energy." "Well, why don't you nibble on some of my droppings?" replied
the bull. "They're packed with nutrients." The turkey pecked at a lump of
dung, found it actually gave him enough strength to reach the lowest
branch of the tree. The next day, after eating some more dung, he
reached the second branch. Finally after a fourth night, he was
proudly perched at the top of the tree. Soon he was promptly spotted by
a farmer, who shot the turkey out of the tree.

Management Lesson?
Bull Shit might get you to the top, but it won't keep you there.

Lesson Three:
A little bird was flying south for the winter. It was so cold the bird
froze and fell to the ground in a large field. While it was lying
there, a cow came by and dropped some dung on it. As the frozen bird lay
there in the pile of cow dung, it began to realize how warm it was.
The dung was actually thawing him out! He lay there all warm and
happy, and soon began to sing for joy. A passing cat heard the bird singing
and came to investigate. Following the
sound, the cat discovered the bird under the pile of cow dung
and promptly dug him out and ate him.

Management Lesson?
1) Not everyone who shits on you is your enemy.
2) Not everyone who gets you out of shit is your friend.
3) And when you're in deep shit, it's best to keep your mouth shut!

TO THOSE GRIDS THAT BLOCK US...

There are 7 of us, me who made the grid for the others, and 6 students, who rotate. We don't even change our avatar, we still have the same clothes, skin...

We like to go to the list of new regions to see what people have made new. If you don't want us to go, why advertise them on this site?

If you're afraid we'll rip you off, we dare you to find something on our grid that's not for sale. Even, when there is some special work, we post it and next to it we put a link to your grid (as in the case of Cherry Manga, Flora, Lani...).

We are not your competition in anything, we don't rent regions, we are not interested in users (although they are welcome if they prefer to be here).
As we said in another post, if someone wants something of what we do, ask us, we almost always forget to put it in copy or for sale).

In fact, the Welcome region, we have made it with links to this site and to places that we believe that anyone who comes to Opensim should know, because of their work.

On the other hand, we are disappointed with the people... it is sad, when they pass by you and even if you say hello, you do not receive the slightest sign of friendship. This is what hurts us the most (in our homes we are always forced since we were kids to say "hello" when you arrive and "goodbye" when you leave), indifference is punished with a "scolding".

We are so few and this is the relationship we are looking for... not even a "hello"... but a "don't come closer, I won't let you".

The construction of the Vikings continues, the cold north and winter are getting closer.

This sweet lady was Jackie, Softwhisper Littlewing who was a DJ I got to know in Second Life and she was amazing and so much fun. We lost Jackie in 2020 to cancer and she will be forever missed and loved. I designed this memorial to her as a DJ she so loved music and dance.

Yay, here I am at Paris in AMV! Took me a bit of time last night to settle on a basic look. I'm sporting the Athena body with the Lelutka Erin head, same as my OSgrid avi, but lighter skin. I've also tried to add a bit more thickness to her compared to the other one.

I'd love to age myself a bit more here. That's not a typo! Is there a good store in Open Sim that has aged body skins? I have tried out the aged face skins from the BoM pack and they do work well, but I could use some body freckles and veins for a more convincing aged look. Not too old, let's say 45-55, basically my age group IRL.

It has come to my attention that many of the sound players were broken in dragonfyre due to an opensimulator version upgrade. As a result I have re-made the sound players for dragonfyre and put them in a box at wizardry region. This includes birds, ocean, waterfall, doves cooing, crickets, and more. Simply put these phantom boxes out, and make them transparent. They will play the sounds they are labeled with.

In light of all the complaining about "copybotting" we have decided to give a "Builder's School" a shot, but this is strictly for beginners. If you are a seasoned builder it's not for you, however, if you'd like to share tips and building ideas to help other's become awesome builders it would be most welcome. If we get enough interest, we will set out a region and beacon and set up a day of the week when we can help teach building all manner of things from homes to hats and more. If you are interested in learning to build and give your grid original and unique content, these classes may just be for you. We will be teaching not only prim building, but how to turn that into mesh and also terraforming and landscaping as well as texture aligning and including many tips that make building in Open Sim a really "FUN" experience. A good time was had by all as most everyone came in period costumes as well. Kudos to everyone and Merry Christmas!
