We're making progress! Today we finished the spike, which can drain 10, 25, or even 40 liters of vital fluid. The co owner of the grid Metal Tango and her fiancé Gray Mouser, are in the process of purchasing a house. They have decided to take Mama here with them so that means that the owner and co owner of the Grid are moving so I'm canceling all grid events for January though I will be putting out new valentine's stuff and doing a couple side jobs for some friends. The movements are all low-impact and great for all of us over a certain age. This video focuses on the belly (core) and is done while sitting. Have a sturdy chair available. While it focuses on the core, she also gets the rest of your body moving.

We are starting with this video and will repeat doing these movements for the rest of January. We will add new ones in February. The idea, though, is to move, and we felt this was the perfect video to get us all started. You can move with us once a day or all three times and only do what is physically comfortable for you to do.

Our resolution this year is to get into better shape, and moving together will keep us accountable. It's too easy to say, "Oh, I'll do it tomorrow." We know how it is working on projects in-world and getting caught up in them, before you know it, you have been sitting for hours.

We are doing it 3x a day for 15 minutes. I'm sharing the video link so you can take a look at it, but we will be sharing our screen in the Daily Movement voice channel on the OpenSim Connect Discord Channel, that way, we can all do it together!

@everyone 2026 has begun and its time to get to planning OSFest 2026 - yes we are starting early 😉 Tentative dates are October 9, 2026 thru October 24, 2026. Our primary goal is to have 65% events on other grids and 35% on the OSFest grid.

Choosing our theme is the next step so I created a ranked choice bot we can use to narrow choices without people "bandwagoning" or seeing spoilers. Each poll we vote on is limited to 5 choices so we will be running more than one ranked choice poll to help us rank suggested themes. When you vote, (ranking your choices), assign a number from 1 to 5 to each choice where the best choice is 5 and the worst choice is 1. So far we have the following suggestions:

2026: Learn to Create—Because Ideas Deserve to Exist
