Dryads, bound to ancient trunks and whispering groves, carry an unmistakably human grace in their expressions and emotions, while tree elves move with the fluid stillness of wind through leaves. From 2026-02-19 to now: added capped mesh upload fee retries and user-facing logging for missing uploader URLs; refreshed CA handling to download/pin curl’s bundle at build/runtime; kept KDU off and use openjpeg due to licensing/package gaps. Certs for firestorm seem to be locked into 2024!
I also made it retain home in the viewer rather than need the url from the simulator. Hoping to fix the issue where we can't get home.

Ziel war eine saubere, automatisierte Lösung mit klarer Trennung zwischen Produktionsserver und externem Backup-Server.
Das System basiert auf:
• verschlüsselten Borg-Backups
• getrennten Backup-Skripten für Dateien und Datenbanken
• zeitlich versetzten Cron-Jobs
• klar definierten Aufbewahrungsregeln
• vollständig dokumentierten Wiederherstellungsszenarien
Die Dokumentation ist bewusst allgemein formuliert und nicht auf ein spezielles Grid oder eine konkrete Datenbank zugeschnitten.
Sie kann als Anleitung für andere Administratoren dienen, die eine ähnliche Struktur umsetzen möchten.
Enthalten sind unter anderem:
• komplette Einrichtungsschritte (Repository, SSH, Passphrase-Automation)

• Retention/prune strategies
• Logging and control mechanisms
• Restore of individual files
• Database recovery
• Complete disaster recovery process
