Here's the calendar of events for Saturday, the second day of OSFest, with a ton of great talent lined up for another day of partying plus our first satellite event!

On the calendar starting at 11 am pst is our first satellite event on another grid - this time at Utopia Skye Grid. The Golden Touch Theater will be performing a show celebrating 10 years of GT. The Golden Touch Theater has performed virtual dance and theatrical productions spanning many genres and styles. This show celebrates a history of those productions vibrant with colors, styles, music, and joy. Do join us and suspend time to be transported into the whimsical and artistic minds of those in the Golden Touch Theater group.

Please Note: This is a satellite event for OSFest and will be held on Utopia Skye Grid directly on The Golden Skye region, which is closed to the hyper grid, so you'll need to make an avatar to see the show, but we have starter avatars set up & ready to go (including a fully set up Dinkie starter avatar & a setup Ruth mesh avatar), and account creation is easy. Blue Monday im KlaJaKlu

Am Montag, den 18. September 2023 findet ab 19:30 Uhr im KlaJaKlu ein besonderes Musikevent statt.

Im Vorprogramm ab 19:20 Uhr wird ein Konzert von King Crimson aus dem Jahr 1982 in München gezeigt.

Im Anschluss daran übernehmen die DJs Xenos und Klara das Kommando und sorgen für eine abwechslungsreiche Nacht mit Musik aus verschiedenen Genres.

Xenos spielt von 20:00 bis 21:30 Uhr einen Mix aus Indie Rock, Blues, Punk Rock, Metal und Progressive Thrash.

Klara legt von 21:30 bis 23:00 Uhr ein Sun Ra Spezial auf.

Lack of Predetermined Objectives: Unlike many games that have specific objectives, missions, or end goals, Second Life and OpenSim don't offer specific tasks for players. Users decide what they want to do, whether it's socializing, building, trading, or exploring.

Creation and Customization: In both platforms, users can create almost anything, from virtual structures to clothing and art. This level of creative freedom is broader than in most traditional games.

Real Economy: Both Second Life (with its Linden Dollar, L$) and certain OpenSim grids have their own economies and currencies, which in some cases can be exchanged for real money.

Social Interaction: A major draw for many users of both platforms is social interaction, similar to a chat room or social media platform, but in a 3D environment.

Diverse Uses: There are various reasons why people use these platforms, from simple social interaction to business, education, training, simulations, and other purposes unrelated to gaming.

However, although they aren't games in the traditional sense, some users might participate in game-like activities within these virtual worlds or set up regions and environments with game-like objectives.

Taucht ein in eine Nacht voller Musik und energetischer Rhythmen bei unserem Event „Blue Monday in der Zappelbude“!
Wir laden euch herzlich ein, am 28. August 2023 um 20:00 Uhr gemeinsam mit uns in der Zappelbude zu feiern.

Unsere DJs werden euch durch den Abend begleiten:

Xenos wird von 20:00 bis 21:30 Uhr die Bühne übernehmen und euch mit einem aufregenden Mix aus Jazzrock, Explosive Groove Funk Soul, Soul Rock, Post-Punk und vielen weiteren Stilrichtungen begeistern.
Klara übernimmt im Anschluss von 21:30 bis 23:00 Uhr und präsentiert das Thema „Ist das noch Jazz oder kann das weg?“. Lasst euch von ihrer musikalischen Vielfalt mit ContraPop und anderen Genres überraschen.

Aber das ist noch nicht alles! Schon ab 19:30 Uhr könnt ihr euch im Vorprogramm aufwärmen mit „Queens of The Stone Age Live from MONA (Museum of Old and New Art)“. Ein wahrhaft kraftvoller Auftakt für eine unvergessliche Nacht.
