For the new club I am building I am looking for a lightshow. something along the line of: I drop a beat and push a button to make big lights do a short burst. so nothing constant, something I can control manually, and preferably not particles because laggggg. I need EvoX skins. Right now, mostly the usual skins, but fantasy skins and alien skins would be welcome as well. Anything that's good for an elf look would be welcome. I sometimes use a 'frozen elf' EvoX skin in SL, would love to do that as well in Open Sim =)

I'm OK with taking skins from other avatars, but I'd rather not take more of those if I can. A huge (or modest) EvoX fatpack would make my holidays awesome! =D

What software would a grid owner need to host a music streaming service on their servers? The plan is to make it convenient for a region owner to rent stream(s). The software should allow scaling up capacity to meet the demand (understanding that the bandwidth needs to adjusted as needed.

Yikes! When did the chat box here replace posting? Doing so makes this group no better than looking for stuff via the front page box.

What posting does that chat can not.
1. It provides a way to post and reply in a threaded conversation. That way, we can more easily see what someone is looking for, the help that has been provided, and the help that is still needed.
2. We have a small core group of helpers. I'd like to keep them around, and add to the number. Posts make it easier to see who has helped and to create a post that acknowledges the helpers. In turn, the acknowledgement post helps the helpers by promoting their regions and/or interests.
3. A post can have a picture of what you want or otherwise bring attention to your post.

Someone said chatting is fast and more reliable. I'm not sure how. Once I know why chatting has come to be preferred, I can see what we can do to bring those features to posting.

OMG!! Is it against the law to get pregnant on opensim ffs geesh like what is wrong with opensim this exsist in RL just like having sex those too and everything else i mean we can play house and cook and rp but we cant rp kids babays that are robots almost they are not avi kids geesh it makes me run back to SL because i have my kids there and living the life i want to enjoy i like where i am in opensim yes things are free but i also see the other side where you pay for the things you like and the way you want to live your VIRTUAL LIFE WHO IS ANY0NE TO RESTRICT THAT!! Hi all, I was discussing OS with a friend from SL the other day and she had been trying to research online for a region to purchase/rent in OS but found the lack of information on websites a hindrance in her quest. So I thought I would ask here...
the criteria are a 1 x 1 region (adult land preferably), prims can be 10k-40k.It is not a huge issue. She wants to pay a maximum of $10USD per month and she would like to be able to sign up, register, pay via a website initially. Do any of you have recommendations from experience? Please suggest away.
Oh and one technical question. Do people need to have an account with the grid they are renting from. She saw one potential grid host that offered land on their grid and/or osgrid.

Looking for texturing help on a set of 3d models from Sketchfab. They convert and import perfectly and it looks like a great set. But I cannot get the textures to go on them in any kind of proper looking way. It's the first entry FNAF Plushies by a creator named AdamNeverStopsGaming. I hope someone can point me in the right direction. My elephant rezzer rider pulled a missing asset on me, so I am looking for a new one. I had two versions, but either will do. One of them, the rezzer was an elephant, and the other, the rezzer was a sphere you hop on and the elephant rezzes under you from the sphere. Both are NPCS and you can ride them all over the place. It is the best! They are also one of my favorite animals, so I hope we can find one for me. Thank you!!!
