Puttering with cars again because it pushes my PBR skills in new directions. Today I finally had a breakthrough with PBR glass that looks much closer to the real thing. That's transparent glass in the photos with real reflections achieved by modifying a silver PBR texture I had.
SL, and by extension Opensim, did not implement the full PBR spectrum of textures, leaving out about 5 or 6 types. One of those not included was Transmission, which communicates to the graphics engine the details of the glass surfaces. So I basically have been wracking my brain on and off trying to come as close as I can to the real thing. Today was a good day.

I'm so excited to report that Wolf Software Systems Ltd has signed a partnership with MariaDB. As we own the grid, we will be upgrading our databases to the latest version of Galera Cluster (5 nodes) and Maxscale. We will be working with Mariadb next week on the deployment plan.

Update on Garden Towers Mall: Lone Wolf has moved my region to a different server, giving us an improved experience. All the hair and women's clothes have been tested by my alt from another grid. The assets should all be okay. I'm also in the process of adding some new items.

You will also find a forest with a winding path that weaves through the shadowy woods, cloaked in mist and moonlight , branches whispering secrets in the wind leading the way deeper into the unknown and suddenly it opens into a radiant, moonlit clearing. From what I've read, there must be a bug in OpenSim itself that causes this malfunction. If you have a var, and you set the landing at a point with X and/or Y beyond 255, then it will always end up 12...
