Puttering with cars again because it pushes my PBR skills in new directions. Today I finally had a breakthrough with PBR glass that looks much closer to the real thing. That's transparent glass in the photos with real reflections achieved by modifying a silver PBR texture I had.

SL, and by extension Opensim, did not implement the full PBR spectrum of textures, leaving out about 5 or 6 types. One of those not included was Transmission, which communicates to the graphics engine the details of the glass surfaces. So I basically have been wracking my brain on and off trying to come as close as I can to the real thing. Today was a good day.
