I just caught up with the craziness about Lone stealing a floor from Marianna. Looks like she saw my post yesterday about our first monthly social with a picture of my Lotus Club on Luxor. it has a big circular dance floor with a blue arcane texture. I guess she assumed Lone stole that idea the day before yesterday's event and added to his Social region (which doesn't exist). That picture was from my Gala 6 months ago at the Lotus Club and which I built on Luxor a year ago. I have that same exact texture on one of my hypergates at Luxor. I have used that texture for years. I love arcane textures, especially on floors and ceilings - I have them on a floor in Castle Ceridwen and in my main store in the Magic and Mysteries room.

This amazing new product lets you drop in an item of clothing, and a picture of that clothing (or shoes, or hair) and click through the items in your closet. Then you can choose to have the item GIVEn to you, or to AUTOMATICALLY WEAR the item. Note: Please use copy items. If you find any bugs, please contact me and let me know. THE JOYS OF DREAMGRID. DreamGrid is a software by Fred Beckheusen that makes it super easy to set up your own grid on windows. Having your own grid means that you can back up your lands at a whim, or on a schedule you set. You also have the power to back up your own inventory. Why is this important? When a grid is down for maintenance you are at the mercy of other people relying on their timeline to get the grid back up and running. Having your own grid also lets you control your own npc's, and gives you vast amounts of power that you don't have if someone else is in charge. If you have a problem with a person you can block their entire grid, or just that person if you don't like them. You can create and control tides, and automate birds flying in the air. Another super cool feature dreamgrid has, is that it lets you just start up the regions people are in, or going to. This means you can have 500 different lands, but if only 10 people are on your grid, then only up to 10 would be active. So basically as people teleport around your 500 lands, only the lands they teleport to instantly load for them to enjoy. This gives you a vast amount of options. DreamGrid even comes with hundreds of ready-made lands you can click and install and instantly enjoy. It also means that you can run hundreds of regions on a small not very powerful computer at your home, as only the active regions people teleport to will be running.
DreamGrid has so many many options and features, to many to mention... That you don't have access to or even dream about if you are a member of someone elses grid. It's easy to run. Now of course there will be some people who have difficulty starting a program or are just technically dumb who will complain about dreamgrid, but these people really shouldn't be allowed near a computer in the first place. DreamGrid is dead simple to operate and has features such as auto restart a crashed region, auto restart all regions at a certain time similiar to secondLife's rolling restarts, and of course the ability to backup all your hard work and your precious inventory at a moments notice. Put it on an external drive and you will never again lose all your data. So give DreamGrid a try! It really is a work of art that deserves praise and recognition.

I have scripted an absolutely gorgeous vendor board. I've left it in my sandbox, where you can take a copy, right in the center. It's very low cpu usage. It works perfectly. You must put at least 6 items in it. You also put the pictures in it. Name the pictures the same thing as the items, but put a period in front of the picture texture name. That's all there is to it. It's very smooth, sleek, and sharp. Definitely the way to modernize a lot of these old dated vendors you see in so many malls these days. :)

****EEP SKIES HUD V2 UPDATED RELEASE **** You can now change your EEP sky (*) in your SIM with serveral nice seasonal day cycled options by a simple touch in a HUD! You just need add it to your avatar! Super easy! Nice for those who has zero skills on EEP settings or... just lazy!
Pretend you want play ur SIM as New York city RL so grab the correct HUD for it (and You will experience the same Sun position /angle, sunrise/sunset (approximated values) there! Like on RL. And many options of skies for clear day/nights, foggy, cloudy and rainy!

This is called a lectica. It's a small bed that you are carried on by 2 npc's. Satyr Aeon built the original one, I fixed it up some here and there. You can drive it around like a car and up to 4 people can ride with you. :) You can make the npc's run by pushing the pgUp button. Here my NPC servants are walking across a narrow rope bridge carrying me. hehehe Satyr Aeon made this, I just tweaked some scripts and rebuilt the bed. :) Now with the new scripts you can link whatever you want to it, and it won't mess up the npc's because it gets their named prims prim numbers through script. Also I've fixed some issues with the original code. But credit should go to Satyr as he made it. There's one at wizardry you can copy for free. cyberdatastorm.com:8002:Wizardry And yes their legs actually walk when you are moving it around.

When you land at Indigo Blue Realm you will arrive in our Teleport Hub. From there you can click on the destination board to visit our Welcome Center and other areas of the region.

Backstory of the Teleport Hub because you absolutely didn't ask me.. LOL

It is me being new to opensim and having no clue what i was doing, built my home sim on the region landing spot coordinates. x 128, y128,. I kept building and building all around that spot never ever realizing it is the standard landing coordinates for all regions.

I noticed one day that people coming to my region were constantly landing in or about my home. That can get to be annoying, yah? For me and the person landing on my region, annoying as hell especially if i am changing clothes. Ok that part may not be annoying for some 0.o. I couldn't for the life of me figure out what in the name of opensimness was going wrong. Because, well, not many people were visiting me at the time I gave up and shrugged it off. I would find out later, wrong move there sista love! Wrong move!!

Finally ready to start letting people know about Indigo Blue Realm and allowing visitors in, lo and behold that old landing point issue rose up like a freakin fire breathing dragon. No one is landing at my Welcome center they are still landing at my home.

Yes i had teleports that automatically put them at the Welcome Center but it was annoying too. I could have moved my home sim but I was already in too deep...lol and lazy yeah just lazy.

So I just built a teleport hub at those coordinates and moved the house slightly over a bit outta the traffic area and called it a day! Problem solved LOL

So for all you new region owners out there before you start building, make sure your home if you have one is not on or near the x 128, y 128, coordinates or you will be in the same boat as I was (smacks forehead)

A great alternative to vivox is mumble. It's changed a lot since the mumble-whisper project for opensim back in 2010. I run a mumble server right here at my house, and anyone can connect to it and try it out. On windows just download the mumble client https://dl.mumble.info/latest/snapshot/client-windows-x64 or on apple mac download this client https://dl.mumble.info/latest/snapshot/client-macos-x64
Mumble also has clients in most linux package managers already ready to go. Mumble has super high voice quality and it's totally private. I've already used it at my grid with several people and the quality was amazing. Plus the fact the mumble server runs on a small raspberry pi at my home with zero problems. If you wish to connect to it, just use cyberdatastorm.com as the server address and you can try it out on port 64738. There are also mumble 'servers' for windows, mac os, and linux. So you can run it on something besides a raspberry pi, and have your completely secure and private own voice server. I understand a lot of people worry about vivox listening in to their private conversations. ok. Here's an alternative. What's great about it is you can play opensim with mumble in the background so it doesn't affect the game play at all, AND it's great voice quality.

Sometimes people spy on you.
They use a simple script like this one and put it in any object.

This script then reports back to them everything you say in local chat - EVEN ON ANOTHER GRID. How can you find these hidden bugs? They could be inside that vase of roses, or even in your wedding band ! Well now you can. The Xray Spy Device will let you see scripted items all around you. It's up to you to God mode them, and read the script inside to see if it's a spy script. Ask yourself a simple question. Does that rock my friend gave me really need a script?

Sometimes a few greifers come to your sim and they use a trick to crash your sim or create lag. They do it by wearing a device which runs many scripts, and each script is created to do intense math calculations which take a lot of cpu time.
Wouldn't it be great if you had x-ray vision and could see who these people are? Now you can. Just wear my "person lag detector" and it will show you how many scripts a person has running, how much memory their scripts are using on your sim (some are designed to eat up all your sims memory), and how much time they are using of your cpu (some are designed to use up all your cpu with calculations). Get it free, now at Wizardry! :) All you do is attach the device to hud center or center2.

New teleport system on EUROPA. instead of the traditional (and dull one) now public can tap into many places in SIM by using this Interphasic Taxi Buble. Totem available at many spots spread allover the SIM. It can carry up to 03 passengers. Enjoy :)

Every one, something I did not know. I upgraded to the most recent version of dreamgrid and the other day I had massive problems. My grid would not restart and I had to reinstall completely from oars and an old iar. I lost a ton of my inventry. Someone pointed out to me that the latest version is a 'beta' version that has not been well tested, and I didn't know that. Apparently we should only use the latest 'stable' version and stick to that until a new 'stable' version is clearly marked on the dreamgrid website. I apologize to everyone for posting when a new version of dreamgrid came out. Not realizing these are beta versions has created a massive mess. As usual, many people are angry with me for joyfully informing them of the latest release. I hope you can forgive me, I meant no harm, and was trying to be helpful.

DREAMGRID 5.4998 IS OUT!!! :) Please note it is still running on opensim v 0.9.2.2 and has not yet been upgraded to 0.9.3 which ubit released a week ago. We are hearing great news about 0.9.3 being much faster than 0.9.2.2! :) Soo that's good news for everyone! ENJOY! and be sure to thank Fred Beckheusen for his amazing work!!!

I have created a Magic Carpet that can fly FOUR people around a sim and is driven by the first sitter. BUT THAT'S NOT ALL! For 3 easy installments of ZERO DOLLARS you also get a carpet that has bones. This means the carpet can flutter in the wind as you fly. Unfortunately I do not know how to script animated bones.
