Darrell Lance Abbott (August 20, 1966 – December 8, 2004), known professionally as Dimebag Darrell, was an American musician. He was the guitarist of the heavy metal bands Pantera and Damageplan, both of which he co-founded alongside his brother Vinnie Paul. He is considered by many to be one of the greatest metal guitarists of all time.

While on tour with Damageplan, Abbott was shot and killed by a deranged fan during a performance at the Alrosa Villa nightclub in Columbus, Ohio on December 8, 2004. Three others were shot and killed before the perpetrator was killed by a police officer.

It was said that Dime's drummer brother, Vinnie Paul, only escaped with his life due to the sacrifice of band security lead, Jeffrey "Mayhem" Thompson, who tackled the crazed shooter, Nathan Gale, and gave his own life in the process. Vinnie took some time off and released some tribute materials in his brother's honor.

In June 2006, after an 18-month hiatus, Vinnie was not sure if he would return to music, but eventually joined the heavy metal supergroup Hellyeah, which featured vocalist Chad Gray and guitarist Greg Tribbett from Mudvayne, guitarist Tom Maxwell from Nothingface, and bassist Bob Zilla from Damageplan, who was a replacement for original bassist Jerry Montano. Abbott recorded six studio albums with the band. On June 22, 2018, Vinnie died at his Las Vegas home at age 54. It was later revealed that Vinnie had died from "dilated cardiomyopathy and coronary artery disease". In May 2019, it was announced that Hellyeah would tour for the first time since Vinnie's death to support the final album he recorded with the band, Welcome Home. Stone Sour drummer Roy Mayorga was chosen as Abbott's replacement.

Now that we know the who and the when, let me use my personal words to convey why this became a yearly holiday to me. On December 9th, 2004, word reached me about Dime's murder and the incident at the Al Rosa Villa Nightclub in Columbus, Ohio. In my teens and early 20's, i was very much into hip-hop and r&b. These styles of music brought me happiness and great joy. My best friend down the street, James, would everyday be on his guitar. The most common song he played the most was Cemetary Gates by Pantera. This tune was taught to him by our mutual friend, Jeremy, who himself was in a few bands, and was formerly on Pantera's street team. Dimebag even signed Jeremy's gf at that time's pregnant tummy. It all wore off on me, and while I've never given up my love of hip-hop and r&b, i have expanded my music interests 10-100fold in the past 20-30 years.

I was this close to attending the damageplan show at Harpo's in Detroit with my friends in April of 2004. I did the responsible thing and went to work, instead. I considered going to the columbus show where the shooting happened, or to the one in flint Michigan that was to occur the next day, had the shooting not happened. What I did do is organize a gathering with a few coworkers, got a fresh fifth of Jack Daniels, and drank damn near the entire bottle all myself. Words cannot express how deeply i feel this loss. Pantera was the foundation for my rock evolution. My rock portal, if you will.

In 2018 I sadly added Vinnie Paul to my memorial holiday. I feel it appropriate to celebrate the lives of these 2 brothers, both rock legends in their own rights, together. Anyone interested in getting drunk, smoking a blunt, rocking out and partying with us, is more than welcome to join us. I will be djing Pantera, Damageplan, and Hellyeah in loving memory of the Abbott brothers, at my theme park region, Pridelands, on our Homelandz grid. So saddle up with the original Cowboys from Hell, and rock out on this journey with us!

Mir war es schon klar, dass die Nikolaus oder irgendwelche Veranstaltung Tommy White und Paristela auf Icelady Grid stattfinden wird.
Auf meinen letzten Kommentar zum Post des Woody, darin zitatlich:
( „ein Auge betreffend Tommy White und Paristela auf die stattgefundenen Tatsachen die Anwendung einer Vielzahl von Fake Avataren zu werfen, dies zu kommenden Abläufen bei deren nächsten Veranstaltungen“ )
Meine zutreffende Einschätzung das die nun kommenden Veranstaltungen nicht mehr auf neutralen Grids stattfinden werden, wie dies immer üblich war, sondern auf nicht neutralem Grid,zu 70 Prozent auf Icelady Grid und zu 30 Prozent auf Offworld Grid.

Ich nutze hier die Gelegenheit und fasse zunächst mal einiges zusammen; Zur Vornahme einer Einsetzung von Traffic Fake Avataren zur Schaffung einer Beliebtheit und Ansehen, wie der Plan zum Einsatz gefasst und umgesetzt wurde.

Die erste Veranstaltung Tommy White und Paristela war bei der Nabila Grid öffentlichen Clublocation , dort waren insgesamt 23 Anwesende incl. der beiden.

Die zweite Veranstaltung Tommy White und Paristela war die des 3-world Grid dort waren insgesamt 35 Anwesende incl. der beiden.
Diese beide Veranstaltungen waren echt – also reale Anwesende.

Die dritte Veranstaltung Tommy White und Paristela war 2 Tage später nach der 3-world Grid Party, diese war deren Oktoberfest in der Nabila Grid öffentlichen Clublocation, dies war Freitags und war das erste Oktoberfest was in gesamt Opensim abgehalten wurde. Bei diesem Event waren insgesamt 11 Anwesende incl. der beiden.
Genau ab diesem Zeitpunkt als bewusst wurde das das geplante Generieren von zu den eigenen Events folgenden Gästen (Followern) nicht gefruchtet hatte wurde der Plan gefasst Steuerungsweise eine Vielzahl von Fake Traffic Avatare einzusetzen, diese wohl von Mini – Eigengrids im Mittel zum Zweck erstellt und die Daten zu Avataren und Grid selbst definiert.

Was sodann folgte ist laut den sachlichen Grundlagen, ab diesem Zeitpunkt wurden im Grid Hopping nur auf etlichen diversen anderen Grids Partys in Zeiten mit Anfang der Events zwischen 21:30 Uhr und 22:00 Uhr unter Hinzuziehung dieser Fake Traffic Avis veranstaltet, damit auch versucht diese erstellten Avatare zu waschen, wie man es bei einer Geldwäsche kennt, ein perfider Plan. Damit wurden noch hinzu die Betreiber dieser Grids für einen Geltungsdrang mit unlauteren Mitteln zum Zweck masslos ausgenutzt, dies wohl bis dahin das das Ziel erreicht wäre durch ein künstliches Ranking in den Vordergrund zu kommen, Ansehen und eigenen Zulauf zu erlangen. Dies dienlich dazu ein Eigenes, sodann gemeinsamen Grid zu eröffnen, dies um einen Zulauf von Nutzern durch Abwerbung aus anderen Grids als Mitglieder gewinnend herbeizuführen. Zwischenzeitlich dieser diversen Hopping Gridpartys wurde auch der eigene Club auf Nabila World hochgefahren, der dauerhaft ohne einer Veranstaltung online war.

Der guten Ordnung halber sollte man diesen für eine bestimmte Zeit die Computer und Internetzugänge sperren.

It was already clear to me that the St. Nicholas Day event, or some other event with Tommy White and Paristela, would take place on the Icelady Grid.

Regarding my last comment on Woody's post, which quoted:

My accurate assessment is that the upcoming events will no longer take place on neutral grids, as was always the case, but on non-neutral grids, 70 percent on the Icelady Grid and 30 percent on the Offworld Grid.

I'll take this opportunity to summarize a few things: the use of fake avatars to create popularity and prestige, and how the plan was conceived and implemented.
The first Tommy White and Paristela event took place at the Nabila Grid public club location, with a total of 23 people, including the two of them.

The second Tommy White and Paristela event was hosted by 3-world Grid, with a total of 35 people, including the two of them.

Both of these events were real – meaning actual people were present.
The third event, hosted by Tommy White and Paristela, took place two days after the 3-world Grid Party. This was their Oktoberfest celebration at the Nabila Grid public club location. It was a Friday and the first Oktoberfest ever held in the entire OpenSim community. A total of 11 people attended, including the two of them.

It was precisely at this point, when it became clear that the planned generation of people (followers) for their own events hadn't been successful, that a plan was hatched to use a large number of fake traffic avatars. These avatars were likely created by mini-owner-grids as a means to an end, and the avatar and grid data were defined by the users themselves.
According to the facts, what followed was this: from that point on, grid hopping parties were held on numerous other grids between the starting time 9:30 PM to 10:00 PM, using fake traffic avatars. This was done to launder the created avatars, a perfidious scheme similar to money laundering. Furthermore, the operators of these grids were exploited for their own gain, using unfair means. The goal was to artificially rank the operators to gain prestige and attract new members. This served as a pretext to open their own, shared grid and recruit users from other grids. Meanwhile, during these various grid hopping parties, the operators also launched their own club on Nabila World, which remained online continuously without any events.

For the sake of good order, their computer and internet access should be blocked for a certain period of time.
