Ozone Miniverse may be a closed content grid but we are not greedy. When we share knowledge openly and freely, EVERYONE BENEFITS. We had a nasty wake-up call last year. Our grid went down 6 months because of a hardware failure and lack of time to get things operational. We thought we were going to be gone forever. Thankfully, due to backups and a little elbow grease, we were able to restore Ozone in it's entirety.
An assortment of useful things were made and we had lots of people asking about them after closing SimGEAR. Now that I am retired, I decided to release this content for your PERSONAL USE. Open them, learn from them, improve them, get inspiration and make something better!
*This includes the coveted LIGHT CLUB many of you wanted....
Content will leave my grid sometime this weekend when I temporarily remove the EXPORT flag. I will give these packages to the following people and their representatives for legal redistribution.
1. Satyr of Opensimworld
2. Mistress Dalgato of MyVirtualBeach
3. Lotek Ixtar of OS-Collar Fame.
I am NOT authorizing anyone else to share this content in this format. Once you open the crates, break them apart and make them your own, you can do what you like with them after all is said and done. My reasoning is valid, I cannot support your changes to the content. Also, by having AUTHORIZED redistributors, you can be assured you are getting SAFE content which has not been tampered with by a third party.
People who vend this without authorization are the reason why nobody wants to make original quality content for Opensim. There is more to Opensim than shopping stuff malls for broken junk which adds bloat to your databases.

a week goes by sooooo fast – tomorrow is already Tuesday again! So, on January 13th, starting at 8:00 PM, there will be more music from Rubeus' Musical Treasure Trove. Another "mixed bag" of three tracks and a preview of some music starting at 7:30 PM.

There could be a potential trigger warning here but I expect most people will will agree with the sentiment illustrated in this article.
FACT: Opensimulator is free and Open Sourced Software, licensed under the BSD. This gives you a multitude of freedoms! You can change the software, you can share your changes, sell your changes or even use the software in any means you feel is morally or socially responsible. It even includes security features some of your visitors might not like if you use them.
FACT: That means if Opensim gives you, the grid operator freedom, that means you get to decide how end users will experience your work. You can deny entry to troublemakers or entire grids. There is nothing in the Opensim documentation which tells you NOT to do this AND if the developers did not want people using these features, they would not have been included in the first place.
FACT: I saw someone leave some negativity on a region because they were not allowed to run scripts or do their petty deeds upon landing on a foreign grid. Their reasoning: 'Everything must be free and open in Opensim'.
To this special brand of simpleton I say: Opensim is free, just not in the way you think. Opensimulator is NOT a free-for-all. Grid operators are NOT under any obligation to PLEASE YOU. If you do not like the way someone runs their grid, DO NOT GO! Spreading vitriol over a situation you have absolutely no control over is an excellent way to lose friends fast. Don't be angry over a MMO game.

Work is progressing. When I can't connect and work on the LSL scripts, I handle the web development. Ultimately, everything communicates from Opensimulator to PHP/MySQL, which is then stored in the database. From the databases, the data is then transferred from PHP/MySQL to the website, which is currently under development. Today I'm working on player profiles.
