We're testing PBR textures, and the results are stunning! This ring, originally created in Second Life, showcases Opensim's full PBR support, bringing every detail to life. Interestingly, when I upload my jewelry to Second Life, the scale appears much larger, but in Opensim, it matches the exact size I designed. This ring was one of my first creations and earned me an Avi Choice nomination for Best New Jewelry Store in SL! I had to nano that ring though because of the huge scale and would not reduce down to the SL Avatar. In opensim it has worked beautifully thanks to @FerdFrederix~ PBR is in its earliest stages but I am loving the results so far. This will be in the store soon. 💍💗 This image is inworld with Sunrise lighting. Lighting affects the color of the metal if the sky is red orange sunset the gold will be red, Fred pointed this out to me yesterday, so a bright mid day you will see the brightest results. I have fun playing with the sky to see what the metal will look like each sky it looks different. Fred's ring compared to mine though that he textured is beyond beautiful, he made the diamond glossy, and translucent and it is just beautiful, so gemstones can be transparent with a tint of color, so many options and we are having fun! All this is coming soon...

just in case people dont know what formal is.. its Tuxes for the men and Gowns for the ladies.. if you come not dressed in Formal to the Ballroom you will be to told its a formal venue.. 2nd time I have to tell you you will be ejected third time Banned. The Only Club that has a dress code is the Ballroom, and its listed as a formal venue on all ads and notices. The Train Station, TG.IF and Fetish Factor do not have dress codes.

Nico, And Controversy, Returns To "oh HELLO"
The CEO, WTO, FOB, FTP, MRI, TIA, ALA, AFK, and LOL of the Outfit Assembly shop known as "oh HELLO" has returned with a new outfit. A significant piece in the new outfit is a dress named "Wednesday". Herein lies the controversy. The Committee of Nitpicking Ninnies and Nutcase Nitpickers is currently debating if that means you can only buy the outfit on Wednesday, or only wear the dress on Wednesday.

I suggest that you come to the shop any day you like, mumble to yourself, "Is it Wednesday? I think it is Wednesday," and the like. That will distract and confuse the committee. Grab the outfit and run like hell!

I'm reposting these two trees, a Wichita Juniper with berries and a Douglas Fir because after fighting with blender all night I managed to get them from 10 prims down to 3, (May be much higher in ubODE regions). The original load, I guess was too much so I had to break it down into parts and re do it about 3 time before it finally loaded like it should but by golly they're here, they're beautiful, they are nice and full, and they are full perm and free, waiting for you so they can help make your region(s) gorgeous. I had some time to play with PBR thank you @FerdFrederix for suggesting I try it, and as you can see it makes the jewelry look so much better!! Nice! But that means I have my work cut out for me, I have lots of jewelry to update. I will have a PBR section at the store, keeping the old classic textures because not all grids support PBR, this is the first piece I will get it in the store today sometime, Celtic Knot Picture Locket.

Many of you share items via a store on your land or even a shopping mall. But how do people find it?

Distribution of new content on grids makes for a better user experience for everyone and we can all agree that owning a store is more fun when there are visitors are using it!

From the 1st - 25th of each month the OS-expo opens its doors to the public where they can see the latest item available in YOUR store.

So grab a booth, display your vendor picture or item and watch your store traffic grow!

Over the next two days (Wednesday and Thursday, March 22 & 23, our server host will be doing some work on our server.

This will result in some down time for our grid.

Barefoot Dreamers Grid will definitely be offline for at least a couple of hours on Thursday, and we are not sure if it will be affected on Wednesday.

Please do not do any major work on your regions, as we have no way to do backups of regions or load OARs from these days.
