Please do not take items from the SimGear store or the store with opensim collars/scripts and place them in your own store. I already see these items in another store.

There are only a few people authorized to distribute SimGear products and spax has requestion that others dont just take the items to place in there own store. It is also in a notecard in all the boxes.

Opensim collars will have at least one more update, but to limit outdated collars across opensim, please do not just take the items to put in your own store. Even tho i didn't make the scripts or collars, I have permission from the creator to distribute the items and do the work to update them when an update rolls out. I did take time and effort to provide all of this for everyone to enjoy.

2. Backup-Ziel vorbereiten
• Benutzer nur für Backups
• Speicherstruktur sauber anlegen
• Zugriffsrechte korrekt setzen

3. Borg-Repository einrichten
• verschlüsselt
• stabil
• bereit für automatische Rotation

4. Verbindung vom Grid-Server testen
• SSH-Key
• erster Test-Backup
• Wiederherstellung probeweise prüfen

Erst, wenn alles sauber funktioniert,
kommt der letzte Schritt:

5. Vollautomatik nachts per Cron
→ komplett selbstständig
→ kein Eingreifen nötig
→ ruhige, sichere Backups für Dorenas World.


As soon as it's available, here's what I'll do:

1. Check the basic installation
• Debian up to date
• Secure SSH

2. Prepare the backup destination
• Users dedicated to backups
• Create a clean storage structure
• Set access rights correctly

3. Set up the Borg repository
• Encrypted
• Stable
• Ready for automatic rotation

4. Test the connection from the Grid server

• Test the restore process

Only when everything is working perfectly will I proceed to the final step:

5. Full automation at night via cron
→ Completely autonomous
→ No intervention required
→ Quiet, secure backups for Dorena's World.
