The Rainbow Bridge in Luxor. Working with glass using PBR, which needs texture, reflectivity, and transparency to look real. Before PBR we were missing the reflectivity part, which could only be rendered by duplicating the prims above and flipping them upside down.

The excitement of turning a dream into reality. It begins as a spark of imagination, a vivid mental picture of a breathtaking world—perhaps a misty mountain range, an alien landscape, or a bustling medieval city. This dream is like the first stroke of inspiration for an artist.

When you start building, the blank OpenSim region becomes your canvas, a digital palette where each prim, texture, and script is a brushstroke. The process is exhilarating as you shape the terrain, paint the sky with colors and clouds, and breathe life into your vision. You sculpt cliffs, plant forests, and carve rivers, adding details that make your world not just beautiful but immersive.

What makes OpenSim even more thrilling is its ability to provide massive land sizes without the prohibitive costs of other virtual platforms like Second Life. Our lore / backstory
To avoid being killed in a vicious nightly attack, King Maximus, and his advisor Steve, had to leave the continent temporarily. What was ment to be only weeks, became years as they crashed in unexpected islands reefs.
They finally travelled back with trusted people to reconquer the Throne, and on arrival found something quite intriguing. The seven kingdoms were left without rulers, almost emptied, even from citizens!
The former King and his group investigated, one land after the other, questioned the rare livings still around. They discover that dragons came back in mass, and took over by the force of their claws and fire, into what is now called the Flaming Era.
Everyone will try to unite, finding ways to regain control of the kingdoms.
