Simple to Play a Realistic Game of Golf at 3HG Sweet Spot

If you haven’t stopped by the Sweet Spot Golf Course in Three Hills Grid yet, now’s the time! We’ve made it incredibly easy to enjoy a full round of immersive, realistic golf with just a few simple steps.

How to Get Started:

Head to the Clubhouse to grab your essential gear — Score HUD, Golf HUD (for swing animations), and your Golf Club, all boxed up neatly on the counter.

Wear the HUDs and club, then you're good to go! The Score HUD tracks your strokes, and the Golf HUD lets you swing like a pro.

Begin at Hole 1, touch the rez sign on the green to spawn your ball.

Type a power level (0.1–6) into local chat.

Face the direction you want your ball to go.

Then hit "Swing" on your HUD and watch the action!

When your ball sinks into the hole, it resets — but don’t hit it again! Head on to Hole 2 and keep the game going.

Whether you're flying solo or competing with friends, Sweet Spot gives you a smooth, lifelike golf experience in OpenSim. Come enjoy the peaceful green hills, chirping birds, and a course that plays as good as it looks.

Let the games begin — and don’t forget to visit the Clubhouse!

I just recently updated the Menkaure Temple at the Egyptian display area to PBR textures and a fully redone pool area. Includes the temple, the pool area with plants and prim water, a gold sarcophagus, and a gold firepit. Click the Egyptian teleport sign inside the lobby to get there.

The original for this temple sits on Luxor and serves as my temporary home there. A version of this was used as an OSFest2023 memorial to Veri McMaster who passed away in 2022. I recently donated her version to Kitely to be permanently displayed on their upcoming Memorial region, since Kitely was her home.

We would like to wish everybody a beautiful easter !!
We work a lot and I work to in both RL and fixing the areas as much as I can. I have help but do a lot to by myself at the areas. It will take time before we can open Vendetta but I prefer to do a lot now when the GRID is closed. All to make the regions as I wish. If you want to add your pop up shop at our area or be a part of the team as builder just send me a IM and I will contact you. We have a lot of great builders and creators on opensim and we wanna be part of that to create a wonderful GRID that people wanna be a part of. Rolling Thunder Lanes Just Got an Upgrade!

Big thanks to Ferd Frederix for the latest updates to the lanes!

Touch-to-Rez Bowling Balls – Simply tap the terminal in front of the balls to rez a new ball directly on the lane.
Touch-to-Roll – Just touch the ball and let it fly!
Clean & Reset Pins – Use the terminal near the keypad (on the side closest to the lane) to have the rake clear the pins and set up for the next frame.
Live Score Announcements – Scores now show directly in local chat for everyone to follow along!

Ein greller Scheinwerfer erfasst eine Bühne. Ein Mikrofonständer steht bereit. Die Luft knistert vor Erwartung. Diese Szenerie könnte unzählige Momente in der Karriere von David Bowie einleiten, einem Künstler, dessen Essenz die ständige Transformation war. Doch jener Abend des 3. Juli 1973 im Hammersmith Odeon, London, brannte sich ins kollektive Gedächtnis ein. Mit funkelndem Outfit betritt Bowie als sein Alter Ego Ziggy Stardust die Bühne und verkündet mit einem Hauch von Dramatik: „This is not only the last show of the tour, but it’s the last show that we’ll ever do.“ Die Spiders from Mars legen langsam ihre Instrumente nieder. Die Zeit scheint stillzustehen. Es ist der inszenierte Tod einer Kunstfigur, ein Schockmoment für die Fans, aber für Bowie nur ein weiterer Wendepunkt. Dieser Abschied von Ziggy Stardust markierte nicht das Ende, sondern vielmehr die Blaupause für eine Karriere, die von radikaler Neuerfindung, künstlerischer Risikobereitschaft und genreübergreifender Brillanz geprägt war – der stetige Wandel als Konstante einer Legende.
