All - Earthquake in Marrakesh Update 10/09/23

We have moved from our badly damaged home in Marrakesh to the capital Rabat - our power/broadband/telephone is very patchy but I have managed to make contact with Alex (Princess Alex), who will run the ILU side of things with Bobbi Fox, while we assess damage and living arrangements for the family.

Its just been announced over 2000 deaths and hundreds of injured - one close friend hasnt made it but he pulled his parents out of their wrecked family home.

Please pray for us and all those affected by this disaster.

Why a new Mall? We builded a modular System so we do not need always to change the Land. Every Store got a own Brand name so do not be confused about :)

The first ever Monthly Social for Wolf Territories Grid is today at 11 am grid time (pst) at Luxor in the Lotus Club, and teleport routing will drop you right there. This is a great way to meet residents on the grid and get to know one another and share stories. Greedy tables are set up courtesy of GMInteractive and there's a dance floor as well.

IndigoQueen King will be our DJ for the event which will last 1 1/2-2 hours but everyone can stay as long as you like. Voice will be on for those who prefer. The Luxor region will also be open for those who want to explore together - tour boats are available in multiple locations and hold up to 4 people including the driver. Tarot Table (The Celtic Cross) - BUG FIX. Thanks to 9 zero of neverworld for pointing out that in the dialog plus menu, setting menuidx=0 is no longer allowed due to scripting rule changes on some simulators. It worked on mine. But no matter, I have fixed this now to work perfectly.

This rocks.

What an awesome memorial day! TJ & I had smoked chicken, boston butt, and pork ribs, with potato salad, slaw, macaroni salad, texas toast, bbq baked beans, sweet tea and pecan pie. Tonight we played the board game clue which i picked up at walmart, along with some uno cards. Then I got busy in the kitchen and made a tiramisu cake, vanilla & chocolate petit fours, and white chocolate chip cookies. I sent TJ to the store for butter pecan icecream and we had a rare sweets supper while playing Clue (tm). Just all in all a fun memorial day!

A little something I made to enjoy on your region, it's not perfect but it sure is fun! A vintage hot air balloon with basket and chairs to sit while you ride and enjoy your region or give a balloon tour of your region. One of my older builds from the former grid though I've made some adjustments and added a couple things and now it's ready for you to give it a home in your beautiful region. This fine church comes with a few decorations, working doors and pews with sits. It is C/M/T though some of the mesh parts may not be agreeable to retexture. I hope you will enjoy it as it would be a gorgeous place for a wedding, baptism, Sunday service, or even a comforting place to hold a memorial service. Sometimes I just can't help myself and I go a little crazier than I normally am, and I do another build. This one is a modern office setting with two large offices, waiting area, reception area, small bathroom and elevator on the first level and a beautiful conference area complete with a warm fireplace and a wall waterfall and both levels are wall to wall carpeting. It is a modern stone, steel, brass and glass build with burgundy and gold marble walls on the interior and maple paneling. This build will look great on your grid and add a bit of elegance to it and it's free, full perm and waiting just for you here at the Star Jinn Palisade Mall! Blessings and much love, Lavia

In an update, they provide the link to the discussion on Reddit.

UPDATE: Soda Sullivan comments here “that as one could predict, the story is getting legs and traveling;” Soda provides a link to a Website article named “What On Earth Is Going On With Second Life?”: https://www.themetaculture.co/what-on-earth-is-going-on-wi... This article says that a Discord server named “Let's Talk About It" has been created for Second Life residents to discuss the Medium article. It reports that roughly 266 members were sitting in its channels as of [4] days ago. I searched, and it was not a discoverable server.
