TODAY, November 1st we will be celebrating Álfablót the Nordic celebration that honors the spirits of a family’s ancestors, loved ones who have gone before s in this life, and the family’s ongoing vitality. It's sort of a cross between Halloween and Thanksgiving, and it's celebrated in the homes by the families. This year we're celebrating Álfablót over in Birch Springs which is nestled in the beautiful and peaceful land of Bjrkeya which is governed by the Jarl Thorvaldr Ragnarsson, and his Partner Aelgifu Sveynsdottir.
The festivities begin at 2pm GRID time (That's Pacific time), and Thorvaldr & Aelgifu (Elle to us) will be hosting this event.
Music of the era and some unique music will be provided by DJ Lavia.
