For the past month, I have not done much caring for the many turmoil in my life, and this morning I woke up to very dear friend's words to me. He is a writer in RL, and I have learned so much from him. I wanted to share with you all that if you're having a bad day or week or whatever life throws at you, read this, and I wish you so much of a better day. :)
The past few days haven’t been easy, have they? There’s been a lot on your plate — things piling up, thoughts running wild, moments where everything feels too much. Between responsibilities, expectations, and whatever personal battles you’re facing, it’s understandable to feel drained. Maybe it feels like no one notices how much effort you’re putting in, like the world is just moving too fast for you to catch up.

But look at you. Still pushing forward, still showing up, still trying. That’s not something small. That’s strength. Even when the weight feels unbearable, even when doubt creeps in, you’re here. And that matters more than you realize.

It’s easy to be hard on yourself, to think you’re not doing enough, not being enough. But take a step back for a second. If you were looking at someone else in your shoes, you’d see how much they’ve been carrying, how much they’ve been fighting. You’d tell them they’re doing great, that they deserve a break. So why not show yourself that same kindness?

No one expects perfection, not even life itself. Just doing your best is enough. And right now, your best is exactly what you’re giving. Even if it doesn’t feel like much, even if progress is slow, it’s still progress. And that’s something to be proud of.

Rest when you need to. Take a moment to breathe, to pause, to remind yourself that it’s okay to slow down. You don’t have to earn rest — it’s something you deserve. Close your eyes for a while, loosen your shoulders, let yourself just exist without pressure for a moment.

You’ve come so far already. And you will keep going. Proud doesn’t even begin to cover it.

The New Tarot Deck by CyberGlo. This deck has a built in menu that randomly chooses the cards based on the computers clock crystal that vibrates at a specific frequency. If you click the beautiful leather case it will show the menu to deal the deck, and flip over individual cards. Each time it tells only you what the card means and how you should interpret it. The cards turn over one by one as you read them and tell your guest what the meaning is about. You can lay this on any table as there is no background so you can take this deck of cards anywhere. The Arctic Henge is a monument to Asatru, the beliefs of the Old Norse. It is located in Raufarhöfn (*), the northernmost settlement of mainland Iceland.
The Arctic Henge is a site consisting of many stone arches and statues arranged as a monument to the Norse pagan beliefs. Specifically, the piece was inspired by Völuspá, a poem from Edda, the ‘Bible’ of Norse Mythology. Völuspá translates to the Prophecy of the Seeress.This poem describes both how the world was created and how it is doomed to end; it also describes the first man and woman created and catalogs many mythical characters, including the dwarves. 72 of these dwarves, who are said to be symbols of the seasons of the world, are represented at the Arctic Henge, each as an individual block inscribed with a name. These blocks encircle four greater stone arches, which in turn encircle a great column of four pillars. The stone arches on site are arranged to capture the light of the Midnight Sun as it moves across the sky in summer; on June 21st, for example, it aligns perfectly with the south arch. In this way, it is somewhat of a modern Stonehenge.

The Arctic Henge is still under construction. The central column, for example, will be tipped with a prism glass that refracts the sun’s light, and the Throne of the Sun, where you can sit to admire the celestial bodies, will soon be added. Also in the works are the Hall of Rays, a place designed for spiritual renewal, and the Altar of Fire and Water, where rituals, ceremonies, and weddings will be conducted.
(*) Raufarhöfn is located on the Melrakkaslétta Peninsula, which reaches the northernmost latitudes on the Icelandic mainland; only Grímsey, an island community on the Arctic Circle, is further north. As such, it is one of the country’s furthest settlements from the capital, Reykjavík, which sits in the south-east.
