Diese Kunstinstallation konstruierte ich bereits im Mai 2009. Damals hatte ich noch kein eigenes Grid, sondern wohne im Virtyou-Grid, was es schon viele Jahre nicht mehr gibt. Ich holte diese Installation dann im Januar 2010 nach Dorenas World. Man befindet sich in einer Umgebung rotierender Farben und Transparenz. Heute würde ich es vielleicht anders bauen, aber ich habe es bewusst auf dem Stand von 2009 gelassen. Ich freue mich über euren Besuch.

I then brought this installation to Dorena's World in January 2010. You find yourself in an environment of rotating colors and transparency. in diesem Jahr feiern wir das Pangea Kunst- und Kulturfestival bereits zum fünften Mal – und eröffnen es in Köln. Das hat einen ganz besonderen Grund: 20 Jahre virtuelles Köln. Aus diesem Anlass wird Köln in diesem Jahr zur lebendigen Bühne der Kunst. Das Opening startet am 24.04.2026 um 11 AM SLT / 20 Uhr – mit unserem DJ Marlon Wayne, der den Auftakt musikalisch begleitet. Auf der Kölner Domplatte präsentieren sich nicht nur Künstlerinnen und Künstler mit ihren aktuellen Projekten. Anders als in den vergangenen Jahren geben in diesem Jahr auch die kreativen Köpfe des Pangea Grids sowie aus anderen OpenSim-Grids Einblicke in ihre Projekte, Sims und Ideenwelten – denn dieses Festival lebt von Vielfalt und dem gemeinsamen Gestalten. Die Pavillons und Ausstellungen sind dabei nicht nur Momentaufnahmen, sondern Ausgangspunkte für weiterführende Projekte, neue Sims und künstlerische Entwicklungen. Dafür danken wir von Herzen für so viel Kreativität. Zu den diesjährigen Künstlerinnen und Künstlern zählen unter anderem Cherry Manga, Tutz Zabelin, Tina Bey, Terra Merhyem und Nyx Breen, die ihre Arbeiten im Laufe des Jahres in entstehenden oder sich weiterentwickelnden Sims präsentieren. this year we celebrate the Pangea Art and Culture Festival for the fifth time – and we are opening it in Cologne. There is a very special reason for this: 20 years of virtual Cologne. For this occasion, Cologne becomes a vibrant stage for art throughout the year. The opening will take place on April 24, 2026 at 11 AM SLT / 8 PM CET, featuring our DJ Marlon Wayne, who will musically accompany the start of the festival. On Cologne’s Domplatte, not only artists present their current projects. Unlike previous years, the creative minds of the Pangea Grid as well as other OpenSim grids will also offer insights into their projects, sims, and creative worlds – because this festival thrives on diversity and collaborative creation. The pavilions and exhibitions are not just snapshots, but starting points for ongoing projects, new sims, and artistic developments. For this, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for such incredible creativity. Among the artists presenting larger-scale projects this year are Cherry Manga, Tutz Zabelin, Tina Bey, Terra Merhyem, and Nyx Breen, who will showcase their work over the course of the year in evolving or newly created sims. Come check out the reimaged Paradise tropical island and resort. What once used to be Paradise Tropical island, now has many more added amenity's including a resort!

I have added boat docks to sail the island and find its many charming areas. There is also a zip line for a fun way to get to the resort.

Also come check out the new floating restaurants! VB Daiquiri paradise has all the island flavors and vibe. Craving something a bit more upscale but still has that island feel, go check out Tiki Terrace. The band is always playing that island feel so you can dance your cares way. The food and drinks are a plus as well.

ANNOUNCEMENT:
working on my latest animesh roaming critters, I found myself in a predicament:
script load on sim would add up crazy with my intended, dozens of animeshies roaming, single, in flock,etc;
I've spent a hidious amount of time to overcome this bottleneck, and....guess what: I'm so close I can smell it ☺
Even more: its no longer 1 roaming and 1 anim script< I combined em into one clean - ZERO ! - lag version.
zero lag?....yes, Ive tested it to the bone:
effectively, script updates 1x per second, so its negligable in terms of impact on any angle;
I have now some 50+ roaming critters in ZweetZ: in the old state, that would lead to some 200 script events per second, or more....
With the new script....its between 5 and 10 in Statistics Bar, but thats the other scripts used in the sim, not the animals:)
and, of course, as far as I can tell now, I could another 50 without my server or sim give a blink!
I'm working hard on finalising it for my shop- unfortunatly, Im depending on chatgpt.....and he drives me bonkers with his hallucinations.
But, Persistence pays off......if you find it hard to believe, do visit my sim and head to the pond in centre of forest.....and after that, leave me review:)
P.S: the development and testing of lowlag script was done with default moving. That last step, upgrading it to KFM ( Key Framed Motion), prooved to be hard....but I got it working. The critters u see in the forest ( and shop) are with the default, but, the swan swimming in the pond, is the first with KFM !. Why kfm? It m,akes for a much smoother motion, no jerks etc . A bit more fine tuning required, then I'll post here when the new ones are available in my shop.
