Maybe we are old fashioned, Monkey and me. Today we remembered the lively weekends when people went out to dance and have fun together. Also here, in OpenSim.

This seems gone now. When I go somewhere I may find lots of people, but very little activity. One or two AVs talk or use gestures filling the screen, but most others are silent.

Sometimes they even stand wagging in total silence. Makes me think of the terra cotta warriors in emperor Qin Shi Huang Di mausoleum in China.

Mostly I love to stay for a while, listening to the music and dancing on my own. Sometimes exchanging a word with a friend. Then I get tired at being on the parking place and fly home to Caribou again.

Well, not much to say. Every grid does their own thing as they wish.

Caribougrid is here for you and everyone else. For now we have events three times every week and they are always open for everyone. Yes they will be more in the future.

Caribou is Adult rated and we hope that our friends come as 18+ Avatars, at any size small or large, so we can keep these islands open, advanced and safe for all. Ask me, Jeanne, if you are not sure how we see you.

ANVIL-Island is the soft opening title for "Immersion Island"

This is a "bootstrapped" project & massive WIP that I/we have developed over the past 2 years with the help of some wonderful creative makers, that attempts to bring contemporary artists, makers, creatives & technologists together in a virtual venue to engage in fun community events that will intermingle and blend art, entertainment, technology & commerce in a fun new way for both Virtual & Real Life. This video shows only about 1/3 of the experience which includes multiple live entertainment venues, VR & RL shopping, action games & a Dome presentation documentary theater. And we are just getting started.

There will be hosts and helpers available to help and you can meet the makers that have mini popup displays.

As you come in please get your free Music Fanny Pack to wear that will allow you to control the background music.

We would ask that you dress lightly and minimize the use of AOs as a courtesy to the other users and the Live Performers.

Whenever you are in the main dome performance areas it is also a good idea to reduce your draw distance.

There is much to see and do. I am hoping this will turn into the type of mini-event that can be rethemed and changed for the seasons and special occasions. We are already planning for what to do this Christmas-Holiday season.

You are all welcome to come and have fun and celebrate this wild & crazy holiday but also the wonderful platform that makes it all possible.

The band "THE WOLFTONES" (an orig. creation by Kimm Starr) seem to have taken the hearts of the audience and visitors of the sim by storm. They play every full moon (and every night is full moon!!) for your enjoyment!!

I wasn't sure if I would open the sim this year. A lot of bad things are happening in this world right now. But then you would miss a lot of new things and that would actually be a shame.
So, on to AUTUMNVILLES SECOND YEAR , where good meets evil and in between..
I open early, so you still have enough time to make your sim autumnal.
What can you expect? ---A lot!!!
Stroll through the countryside and enjoy (and pick up) the beautiful autumn decorations, see spooky places that will make your blood run cold, voracious flowers just waiting to eat you for dinner and so much more.
New for this year: Stuff in the shopping areas around the sim had been added, an enlarged, completely revamped freak show, a second fully animated band,the Wolftones that´s second to none, an ice cream dealer you'd rather not meet in the dark, and so much more. Find out and just have fun.
And remember a lot but not everything can be copied. PLEASE RESPECT THAT!!! You can see beautiful things "made in open sim- for open sim" for example made by Kimm Starr, Cloee Heslop, Luna Lunaria ,Bibiana Bombinate and many more.
Please make sure to have a good balance between Music and Sounds, otherwise you would miss half of the fun.

Looking for someone that can help get a money server up and running in a Windows 2016 Datacenter environment. Running Opensim 9.2.2, I keep hitting multiple errors usually involving Mono (which shouldn't be needed for Windows). If I launch everything under Mono for Windows, I get an error saying it can't validate the security certificates even though that's disabled in the moneyserver.ini. The project I'm working on is non-profit, just trying to get our amusement parks and games back on the hypergrid so I'm hoping there's someone out there that would be generous enough to help me figure out what I'm missing...been at it for a month & can't find any documentation, troubleshooting advice, etc. anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
