Die deutsche Band CAN, 1968 in Köln gegründet, war weit mehr als nur eine Musikgruppe; sie war eine selbsternannte „anarchistische Gemeinschaft“, deren Einfluss die Musiklandschaft nachhaltig prägen sollte.
Ihre Methode, Musik durch kollektive Improvisation und akribische Nachbearbeitung im Studio zu erschaffen,
war revolutionär und zog Parallelen zur Arbeit von Avantgarde-Komponisten wie Karlheinz Stockhausen, bei dem zwei der Gründungsmitglieder studiert hatten.
Diese einzigartige Fusion aus akademischer Disziplin und radikaler kreativer Freiheit ermöglichte es CAN, die Grenzen des Rock zu sprengen und ein völlig neues Genre mitzugestalten: den Krautrock.

A lot of really nice Athena clothes here, all fixed and with HUD's. Everything is fullperm and the folders even contain images of the clothing which always is a big plus for me, much easier to actuall...
