AI clearly offers great promise in how it is used on medical research and diagnoses, but this is a an augmentation to human knowledge and very much under human control. Much of AI is not subject to such tight control, and this, as this video demonstrates, should make us extremely wary about it.

To all OpenSim members — both ours and our friends across the metaverse — I want to address the rumors going around. GentleFireGrid is not closing down. In fact, it’s the complete opposite.

We are preparing for a move, and the final adjustments will be made over the next few weeks. Once everything is in place, you’ll know exactly what’s happening and how to join us in our new home.

I look forward to seeing you there as we continue building a stronger, happier GentleFireGrid together.

All of my regions have been up & running.
The beacons went offline while I was away.
Since I haven't been on in such a long while, I hadn't realized they went offline.
I have reset all the beacons on all of my regions.
They are all now active on OSW.

This is just rude and assumptive. Maybe they're having a technical glitch they don't even know about yet and you discovered it. Maybe you're having a technical problem you don't know about. Send a kind check in. "Hey I'd love to go to your region but it's not working for me. Do you need to restart?" But don't rate it down. It could still be an amazing place after all is resolved.

A few years ago I asked about creating in opensim and using software to enhance or to better render what you creat, related to photos. However at the time ai was not able to do a good job as it had a hard time rendering photos not just from opensim or sl but in games in general. But now things have much improved, and thanks to Jims posting earlier I read it has gotten way better. So here is an example.
