Some may have noticed that Uzuri (formerly Uzuri Virtual) is back. We got in a bit of
a mess with the code and such last year, but hopefully it is done now. New Linux server and new names - Uzuri Prime and Uzuri Common. We're back 24/7 seven days a week.
Why "Uzuri"? you may ask. Well, the word "Uzuri" means niceness, goodness or beauty in Swahili. No, I'm not a Swahili speaker but I thought is described what I want from opensim, so there it is.
Please note, though, that if it doesn't look the same as before, that's becaue I had to use older oar files to load the sims in because of corruption of the other ones. Some stuff is missing and some stuff that was removed is back. Telle est la vie!
We'll get by.
I have removed the Athena stores from Uzuri Prime because the stuff in them was old and were not enhancing the sim in any way - you can find that stuff everywhere.
Uzuri Common is Open Source/ Authorised only. It is "old school", mainly built from scratch in the viewer. It has a bit of Ruth/Roth 2 stuff and lots of Selea Core.

A few days ago, I announced the creation of a social network dedicated to OpenSimulator. Of course, it's not perfect yet, and I invite you to try it out.
Feature requests were pouring in from everywhere, and I was completely lost.
So I created a dedicated group directly on this network to respond to them and avoid duplication.
So, why join this social network, you might ask?
On this network, there are no intrusive algorithms, no web giants: just a free, ethical, and open source platform, a network created by OpenSimulator enthusiasts for OpenSimulator enthusiasts.

Dies ist die Essenz von Camel, einer Band, die sich nie den kommerziellen Zwängen beugte und stattdessen auf musikalische Integrität und handwerkliches Können setzte.
