"I cannot believe people here actually talk to eachother...these are real people!

*friends-grid does use animesh for atmosphere, but does not and will not use bots to alter traffic counts. I applaud the grids and regions who refuse to use fake traffic!

- Whiskey (to wear): With drink animations on wear for the glass, and several hold animations for the bottle (click on the bottle to switch - and thanks to Matthew for the script).
- Marshmellow (dispenser): You can wear this cup of marshmellow, and click on it yourself to get a marshmelllow stick, or invite others to click on it!

I'm *thrilled* to finally bring you this one. Has taken me a while because it's PACKED with cute props (90!) that make very nice static scenes, and very funny situations. If it wasn't enough, it was more than 1300 new animations (I bet you haven't seen most before!).

For the last 3 weeks, I have dealt with a intermittent issue on my grid that has about driven me nuts. I have tested, and eliminated possibilities …..without luck.
Yesterday two of the largest grid owners in open sim, Lone Wolf from Wolf Territories and Josh Boam from Aviworlds, took time from their busy schedules to help finally fix this issue. In addition , Rafael from Wolf Territories assisted. I cannot say thanks enough!
Although I work with Josh’s hosting business, this involved much more. Josh would not give up and recruited Lone Wolf.
In my opinion, maybe this is what opensim was designed to be: sharing of knowledge and helping each other.
Lone Wolf and Josh did not have to give up their time to help a tiny grid…..but they did!
Maybe we can all learn from these individuals!

FYI. The default setting of 2 threadsets can cause major headaches depending on your region….it is way too low in some cases. You all probably know that…but I learned.

ADULTS ONLY REGION
Hellfire Bay is one of the regions at the Raven’s Peak grid. The theme for the entire grid is Ancient vs Sci-Fi. As the story goes, there was once an ancient civilization that lived here, however they are long gone. Raven’s Peak has since been rediscovered by a new modern civilization, who are preserving the memories of the ancients. Old artifacts, statues, remnants of buildings can be found everywhere. Raven’s peak itself has been mostly preserved with thriving beaches, forests, and jungles.
So far, we have the shopping district of Nysa, main marina & residential area of Cinders Beach and Hellfire Bay.
Hellfire Bay is a place to relax and have fun as you can see in the pictures above. We welcome visitors and residents alike to go sailing, exploring, flying, and dancing at the beach club. Hellfire Bay offers many private cuddle areas, public use bungalows, a beach club, main surf beach and a hidden airport. If you explore far enough, you might just find it! It’s well worth taking some time to sail & stroll around the many islands to fully appreciate what has been offered.
If a holiday destination is what you are seeking, then come and spend a few hours or a few days with us at Hellfire Bay. Bungalows can be used for overnight stays!

Cyberglo has made an absurd and unfounded accusation against Silvia Frey. His post starts with a hysterical headline: PRISCILLA IS BACK!!! THIS TIME A NEW NAME/AVATAR.
I asked Cyber, "Answer just one question. In what way is Silvia Frey, who joined the Blackswan grid almost 8 months ago, and was known in the CopyKat Grid before that,"new?" So far, no answer. Obviously, she is not new.
Cyberglo identifies Silvia with a Blackswan grid address. Blackswan is home to a small group of friends who have been together in SL and now OS for over a decade. It looks like Silvia came to Blackswan in June 2023, when the CopyKat Grid closed. Maurice invited only a few trusted people from CopyKat to BlackSwan. It's doubtful that a guy responsible for keeping two grids safe would invite Priscilla Snot-rag to BlackSwan.

Curious! How many people care about rankings? Curious! What do people look for when coming to OSW? What do you use to find things to do on OSW. Is it rankings, region source..be it party, shop, explore. Does someone being #1 or top 10, bother you? For myself, I use OSW to find the latest happenings, in shops , builds, and courses, by new ads from people. Then I check out the events list, for the upcoming events. Look for a good chat, to participate. Lately this chat has been attacks on someone. If there is a problem with someone, should you not use a private chat? Or report to OSW, and have them handle the situation.

Ok I have a question for the users who read these posts. This region is clothing for Athena rigged clothing and I was wondering how many of you would be interested in my also releasing the same designs for the Legacy body?? If there is enough intrest for the legacy outfits I will start getting the textures etc ready and do some legacy releases as well as the ongoing Athena releases.

At our world Catroninan Archipelago we made a sailing race track.
For all sailors who like a little bit competition and excitement, we made maps and HUDs for navigation that will lead to 9 different turning points. Also the track is easy to find for captains during the race with huge steampunk balloon signs , showing you the way.
This sailing track is originally made for the Friday sailing event, but it's open for all players who like to rezz ships and give it a try.

So take your friend, or group, and organise your race!

All who love sailing are welcome, no matter if you sail Bwind ships, Kayaker Magic scripted ships or SPD scripted. The track is open for the coming weeks and maybe longer on request. If you don't have a ship of your own, ships are at the docks in rezzers.
If you want to join the Friday evening event (12.30 PM viewer time ) , we only allow SPD scripted ships for the sailing race.

For all sailors who like a little bit competition and excitement, we made maps and HUDs for navigation that will lead to 9 different turning points. Also the track is easy to find for captains during the race with huge steampunk balloon signs , showing you the way.
This sailing track is originally made for the Friday sailing event, but it's open for all players who like to rezz ships and give it a try.
