ELVEN HUD version 20 released!!!
If you are an elf you need this hud! :) Recently updated, and many bug fixes.
The hud collapses to a small trifoil button which when clicked expands the buttons of the hud. What the buttons do:
1) Teleport - presents a menu to tp you to anyone in a sim.
2) Spy - presents you menu to zoom in on anyone on your sim.
3) Scrying - rezzes a green ball that you click. This ball has several menus. It is used for finding things. You click the ball and select the type of items you are looking for, such as agents, active, scripted prims, passive prims. Then it shows you a list of all such items near you. Then you click select and click an item in the menu. The ball shoots out a greenish stream of light to point to the item. Great for finding lost tiny things that you can't see.
4) Invisible - Turn off your ao and click invisible and you sink below the ground, seemingly disappearing from view. To return to view just click the round TRI-Foil button. Note clicking the round trifoil button ends most spells.
5) Sanctuary - This rezzes a lovely fantasy elven pavillion created by cat of alternate metaverse grid. Then... It tp's you to the top of your own ivory tower, giving you a view of the lands. To get rid of it when you're done, just click the trifoil button and the entire tower vanishes magically. You can also invite friends to sit at the top of the tower with you and contemplate the meaning of the forest. :)
6) Shield - This just rezzes a simple shield that will ask if it can attach to your avatar. To end this shield simply click the trifoil button. :)
7) Speed - This increases your walking, running, and flying speed by 3x the normal values. So you can zoom across your land at the speed of a wood elf. :) To stop and return to normal speed just click the speed button again. It will tell you in local chat your speed is returned to normal.
8) Attack - If you are on a land where you can rez, this will present a menu of people nearby. If you select a name, blue light will shoot from your hand and zoom to that person. The person will be caught up in a whirlwind of bluefire, and as they try to walk they will be lifted higher and higher off the sim. To end this magic effect just click the trifoil button.
~ Note ~ This is the only magic hud that is currently working due to recent changes in the scripting engine. I will go through the other huds eventually and update them to work again. Starting with the ones people request. Those huds are: wizard hud, witch hud, fairy hud, vampire hud.
Note: The radar hud and the multisim status reporter hud have been updated as of today to work with the current sim changes. All 3 huds ( elven hud, radar hud, and multisim status report hud ), are all available at wizardry.

Every one, something I did not know. I upgraded to the most recent version of dreamgrid and the other day I had massive problems. My grid would not restart and I had to reinstall completely from oars and an old iar. I lost a ton of my inventry. Someone pointed out to me that the latest version is a 'beta' version that has not been well tested, and I didn't know that. Apparently we should only use the latest 'stable' version and stick to that until a new 'stable' version is clearly marked on the dreamgrid website. I apologize to everyone for posting when a new version of dreamgrid came out. Not realizing these are beta versions has created a massive mess. As usual, many people are angry with me for joyfully informing them of the latest release. I hope you can forgive me, I meant no harm, and was trying to be helpful.

[Air Walk] - rez metal magic disks in the air you can walk on. Click again 2 stop.
[Magnus Vox] - talk to everyone in the land and have them see what you type.
[Fix Cam] - fix your camera back to normal settings.

Sometimes people spy on you.

This script then reports back to them everything you say in local chat - EVEN ON ANOTHER GRID. How can you find these hidden bugs? They could be inside that vase of roses, or even in your wedding band ! Well now you can. The Xray Spy Device will let you see scripted items all around you. What tthe buttons do: [Apparate] - tp you to any person in the sim. [Scrying] - remotely view any person in the sim. [Shield] - Rez a shield around you. [Speed] - enable super fast walk/run/fly speed. [Broom] - Rez a broom you can ride. [Familiar] - Rez a black cat you can talk to. [Arcane] - Rez a secret headquarters in the sky and tp you to it. [Elemental] - Rez a forest scene for you and your friends to sit. [Deity] - Rez a goddess that will ask you who you want to ban. [Orb] - rez an orb you can click on. The Orb will list nearby items or people, if you click select it will point to that item or person with a beam of light. Note: you must be in a rez area where scripts are allowed, and the functions are allowed.

OVERWATCH SENTRY V. 30 - AMAZING UPGRADES!
Now has a clickable menu. You can turn it on /off in the menu. You can click the [ban] button on the menu, and select ban by radar, name, ip, or key. This way you can manually add in a name, ip address, or key OR if the person is on your sim at the moment you want to ban them, just click the radar button (sim wide) and click their name on the menu. They are unsat, ejected, tp'd home, and all their info is saved to the appropriate file. No more manual notecard editing (unless you want to...) I hope you all enjoy it. A great alternative to vivox is mumble. It's changed a lot since the mumble-whisper project for opensim back in 2010. I run a mumble server right here at my house, and anyone can connect to it and try it out. On windows just download the mumble client https://dl.mumble.info/latest/snapshot/client-windows-x64 or on apple mac download this client https://dl.mumble.info/latest/snapshot/client-macos-x64
Mumble also has clients in most linux package managers already ready to go. Mumble has super high voice quality and it's totally private. I've already used it at my grid with several people and the quality was amazing. Plus the fact the mumble server runs on a small raspberry pi at my home with zero problems. If you wish to connect to it, just use cyberdatastorm.com as the server address and you can try it out on port 64738. There are also mumble 'servers' for windows, mac os, and linux. So you can run it on something besides a raspberry pi, and have your completely secure and private own voice server. I understand a lot of people worry about vivox listening in to their private conversations. ok. Here's an alternative. What's great about it is you can play opensim with mumble in the background so it doesn't affect the game play at all, AND it's great voice quality.

DEFENSE AGAINST THE DARK ARTS.
This class will be taught in december of 2023 at Wizardry.
The class will be about all the many many ways greifers and bad people can harm your avatar and lands in the metaverse. Topics that will be addressed include:

7) text bombs
8) particle bombs
9) dialog crashers

11) graphics crashers

17) viewer modifications

In order to combat, you must understand the attack, and you must know how to fight it.
In order to stop these greifers and hackers, you must first know if you are being attacked, and then how to fix it.
So as I teach each section, I will also teach you how to combat against it. I will also give you very advanced devices
that can detect these attacks and help you mitigate them, so that you can survive in a virtual world.
Those who are interested in learning Defense Against The Dark Arts, must put their name on a notecard and drop it in the mailbox at the Wizardry region by November 30th, 2023. After that date no one will be allowed to enter the region or the class except for the students who previously enrolled.

OverWatch Sentry v 37. A bug was found in the code by "theprinceofamor". It's on line # 481, instead of an if statement it should say "else if". This prevented the whitelist for dinkies and other approved 'shorties' from working. It is now fixed. Please get your copy at Wizardry in the cyberdatastorm.com grid, or just change line 481 yourself. Thank you.

My Grid recorder project. This project is one where you wear an attachment and when you go to other grids, it gets the name and address of the grid and saves it to a list. Unfortunately it's not very useful as many of the grids I go to have scripts turned off, in which case it doesnt work at all. Or... the hud gets reset on the journey there and doesn't work. So far in the past 2 years I've got a total of 9 grids in the list, although I have been to many many more grids. Thank you for all the nice people I've met out there and the many good people I have met and made friends with. If you are interested in this project for whatever reason, you need to make a website where you can run the php script and you need to wear an attachment that can get the name of the grid and send it to the list in the table. Maybe somebody can think of a use for it.

THE JOYS OF DREAMGRID. DreamGrid is a software by Fred Beckheusen that makes it super easy to set up your own grid on windows. Having your own grid means that you can back up your lands at a whim, or on a schedule you set. You also have the power to back up your own inventory. Why is this important? When a grid is down for maintenance you are at the mercy of other people relying on their timeline to get the grid back up and running. Having your own grid also lets you control your own npc's, and gives you vast amounts of power that you don't have if someone else is in charge. If you have a problem with a person you can block their entire grid, or just that person if you don't like them. You can create and control tides, and automate birds flying in the air. Another super cool feature dreamgrid has, is that it lets you just start up the regions people are in, or going to. This means you can have 500 different lands, but if only 10 people are on your grid, then only up to 10 would be active. So basically as people teleport around your 500 lands, only the lands they teleport to instantly load for them to enjoy. This gives you a vast amount of options. DreamGrid even comes with hundreds of ready-made lands you can click and install and instantly enjoy. It also means that you can run hundreds of regions on a small not very powerful computer at your home, as only the active regions people teleport to will be running.
DreamGrid has so many many options and features, to many to mention... That you don't have access to or even dream about if you are a member of someone elses grid. It's easy to run. Now of course there will be some people who have difficulty starting a program or are just technically dumb who will complain about dreamgrid, but these people really shouldn't be allowed near a computer in the first place. DreamGrid is dead simple to operate and has features such as auto restart a crashed region, auto restart all regions at a certain time similiar to secondLife's rolling restarts, and of course the ability to backup all your hard work and your precious inventory at a moments notice. Put it on an external drive and you will never again lose all your data. So give DreamGrid a try! It really is a work of art that deserves praise and recognition.

This is called a lectica. It's a small bed that you are carried on by 2 npc's. Satyr Aeon built the original one, I fixed it up some here and there. You can drive it around like a car and up to 4 people can ride with you. :) You can make the npc's run by pushing the pgUp button. Here my NPC servants are walking across a narrow rope bridge carrying me. hehehe Satyr Aeon made this, I just tweaked some scripts and rebuilt the bed. :) Now with the new scripts you can link whatever you want to it, and it won't mess up the npc's because it gets their named prims prim numbers through script. Also I've fixed some issues with the original code. But credit should go to Satyr as he made it. I have fixed coding errors I found in the Multi Sim Status Reporter Hud, aka the MSSR hud. I found a deeply obfuscated logic error which I fixed. I have also made it simpler for you to add or edit your sims. You just edit the included notecard inside the MSSR hud. Then when you click it at any time it will show the status of all the sims on the list. It's really great. I hope you get one. It's great b/c if a sim goes into unknown mode before it goes into crash mode, you have a window of opportunity to save everything. :)
